I have been there before a few times and it is a great track. They ahve good gas there and nitrous refill stations. Anyway here is what the email read…

THE COST WOULD BE $2500 FOR 10 - 35 CARS OVER 35 CARS COST WOULD BE $50 PER CAR. TIME: 10AM 4PM

2500/35≠50…we need 35 cars to get it down to 71 a person. Not too bad.
Will they charge for passengers? My strip charges $15 per passenger for a “spectator” fee. not sure if that’s standard or not
On days when you rent the track only the people that run pay because that is fair!
Concord is a few miles from the lake but I grew up literally right on the lake… I haven’t seen any bald eagles but they are around here mostly at the metro parks, as we have a ton of nice parks… My brother has 5 acres that butt up to a metro park so he sees tons of critters at his house including a bear last summer… My house is built into the side of a cliff that overlooks a ravene and creek so I do see quite a bit since my decks are at the top of some really tall trees(several hundred feet)… The animals travel along the creeks for food and water so we have seen foxes, coyotes, wild turkeys, tons of owls, etc… Had a damn bat get in the house last fall and my dumb ass tried to catch it only to get scratched and then it got away so I had to get rabies shots along with my wife and at the time 6 month old son…
4 hours isn’t too bad… Anything within 4 hours allows you to drive up, make passes, and drive home in the same day… makes a long day but still doable…

Yep that is the place… It is east of the city where as the airport is west so it would be a little closer, assuming you come from the east…
we’re all staying in your basement.
Not a problem… Have 2 extra bedrooms as well and the wife is a great cook… Grey goose in the freezer and some other party favors…
This weekend at Autorama I am hopefully going to meet with the summit raceway peeps and speak to them about track rentals, I am starting to get excited about this!!!

It’s crazy to see you guys talking about Lapeer, MI. I grew up about 15 mins from there and didn’t even know they had a track! That probably says something about the quality of it…

no clocks even lol. If you get video it’s kinda useless. justincredible ran 12.something there a year ago, but didn’t tell anyone because he didn’t feel good about not having a video of clocks matching up with his run lol. I thought that was funny because I don’t think there’s anyone on these forums I would trust MORE than him…I’d never doubt the integrity of any run he posts.
