Yea, I agree. It does suck though because you know the car is that much faster. If I ever get an in car video up you can hear 3rd grind as I shift into it slower than the others.
If anyone was wondering, the shop my car went to for the 104 tune couldn’t complete the flash. Ended up having to send out the ecu to APR and have them do it. And since anything that can go wrong will APR forgot the 104tune so it had to be reflashed anyway. So what should have been 30-60 minutes took like 4 days due to the weekend. I didn’t post up becuase I was nervous that the ecu may have been bricked.
I called, confirmed it was available, and went in. No fuss. 've been using them for about 2 years now though, might play into it. I hear its super aggressive so make sure you have good fuel in there.
Im going from my personal experiences with this specific model, I would lose at least 2/10th, unless I nailed it. That was most likely due to the fact that it wouldnt even go into 3rd until 2 or 3rd try…
Furthermore, last winter, when I ran back to back 12.0x@115-117mph, I wasnt speed shifting at all, especially into 3rd… so you are probably right. Although I hate to admit it haha!
Damn, that sux even more…
Fwiw, ive been trying to get that 104 file for over a month now…I think they want you to sign your life away or some shit lol

Yeah I’m not downplaying your problems at all, sorry if it came across that way. Just saying this because Romano was mentioning that he’s losing tenths. Wanted it to be known that it’s hard to lose multiple tenths from one slow change.
Here’s a good example. This is me in my stock rs4 racing a c63 last spring. I raced him twice. Once I nailed all the shifts
and once I completely blew the 3-4 and then swore a bunch, coasted for a while, then remembered I didn’t want to lose to a benz, then got back on it in fourth. Probably around 1.5 seconds of fucking around. The difference in et?
