Btw here’s a dyno of before and after, this was the first revision. The boost was being bled off a little in some spots so since I have the ability to remote tune it I asked for a revision
Just switched to roc euro (no benefit shown from injen that I wasn’t running the top) and setting the car up to run meth next
Saxon, wasn’t i waiting for your full modlist? Pulley? There was some talk you had the srm pulley and others said you had Apr. Then I think you said you were Apr tuned or getting it or something.
Anyway, you know what we need so post it up and I will add you.

Why do people think if you have access to self-tuning it is a good thing? There is only one guy that will tune my Audi, just leave it to a professional instead of making your car slower trying to self-tune.
Just don’t want to see you ruin a car trying to re-invent the wheel with something custom. Plenty of guys have went way faster on pump and way way faster on race gas. Do you think you will touch any of those times?

Lol that you hate epl so much that you think he can’t tune. My gains are similar to giac/apr. My times are similar and Tony has tuned many cars on meth. It’s not rocket science.
Yes I I think with meth it will be very competitive, if not I always have e85 I can get tuned with
I don’t hate EPL, they just haven’t made such a great reputation for themselves. He has proven not to be able to tune, why did AMDAVIVAGMG drop him from their RS4 supercharger? Because his tune didn’t even break 11s with a huge blower on a car that does low 12s NA.
Your gains aren’t similar, you have like the 13th fastest time on pump and your like 4 tenths away from the fastest pump APR time. That is half a world away on the drag strip, a HUGE difference. Hell guys like not_armed didn’t even have a pulley and went faster. Try to do something substantial on pump gas with all of this great “custom tuning” talk and flashing ability before looking into meth or E85. I think you two have work to do if you want to use the comparison “similar”
“It’s not rocket science” will eventually be words you eat when talking about an inferior tuner.
I’m in the top ten according to the list for the current mods I have and I’ve only ran the Damn thing twice, once stock and one time at the track with the tune. There are many many slower times even with race gas. Do I think I will be the fastest, no I don’t have the track to do that nor the time.
I do think I will hit 11’s on pump then mid 11 on meth though
Going from 12.7 to 11’s when you’ve already thrown a pulley on there and several other mods sounds like quit the challenge considering the tune you have is more or less a final product from EPL’s months of work. If you were at 12.2-3 and said you needed some better weather and a slight update it’d be more feasible. I doubt we’ll see a pump 11 time from EPL for quite some time, if ever, after seeing their work thus far.
Honestly it just sucks you’ve had to/chosen to go through all this. APR and GAIC has the going fast thing figured out in the B8 land. EPL can only get 996 Porsches to go fast, and even then they’re just copying what the big boys did years before them and nothing special about it.
I went 12.06 @ 116.82 with just apr v1 tune, intake, and catback… Oh that was in 2010!!! Not hating Saxon just stating facts as I hope the epl thing works out for you…
