Ok I wasn’t sure if I should post this in the classifieds or in here, but this a feeler to see what you guys think? and if there is actually any interest in something like this? I would not mind taking on this task for the group especially if we can save some money on shipping and pricing all together.

The group buy would be for 2 Front European buckets, and a Euro steering wheel if interested, I remember when I was talking with Luke@plushautomotive that for him to source these seats shouldn’t be to hard (steering wheel might be alittle harder) he would just need alittle time to get them all together, he is also a master at leather/stitch work so there would also be the option of retrimming them and or just a general refresh in OEM leather, before having them shipped over, this is my plan for the steering wheel, as I want Luke to rewrap it in the same leather as my seats.

I’ll start 2 lists of 5 people and ill update this first post with information as I get it. As for pricing I won’t say just yet, until I can confirm with Luke on everything. I know that in my talks with a couple locals here that when they were sourcing they were looking at 5k just for the front seats not including shipping :astonished: I’m really hoping we can keep it under that, maybe even sub 3.5k, but no promises as of yet. Steering wheel again I’ll have to reconfirm but I think it was around 7-800 airbag included. (no custom stitch work included in those guesstimates)

  1. OzcarMeyer - w/ AB - retrimmed in Andrew Muirhead “Sateen Harvest” w/ perforation like OEM.
  2. V8A6 - C6 RS6 airbag (have to inquire on this)
  3. Marcusdubya - w/ AB

again this is not a for sure thing, and I’ve already emailed Luke and I’m hoping I should find out some more information by tomorrow, If not Monday for sure.

*edit - 10 seat’s and wheel’s, seams alittle lofty not to mention pallet sizing and pricing on shipping will hurt us, so I’ve readjusted to 5 seat’s and 5 steering wheel’s. This can be adjusted at later date if we have enough interest.

What euro wheel… B7 rs4 FBSW?

Can you find someone to reprogram it so I can control something useful with the buttons on it?

My car has a steering wheel stalk button to control the computer, and I have a sport button on the dash. So the euro rs4 FBSW buttons are useless.

I need volume , phone anseer/hangup, scroll, etc

Put me down for euro buckets with race cloth. I’d prefer full set, but fronts only will do it I guess.

Member Audifirst on AZ used to be really helpful with this kind of stuff. He used to run pixelfix.info, and fixed all the bad cluster screens for a very reasonable price.

However, last time I talked to him he was very busy with his full time job and didnt have time to run the side businesses anymore.

If you are seriously considering this, I can contact him for you and see if he can do anything like this. Just let me know.

I purchased a C6 RS6 steering wheel, but need an airbag for it. If he can get that then Ill definitely be in for an airbag only

I have a local that I’m working with on his wheel, he is like me and I doesn’t really use the controls only for the volume up down, that and he has a Milltek and wants the S button to work on the wheel. If the buttons don’t work I’m not to worried, because like Saki said this is probably one of the best looking wheels Audi ever made.

Another option would be to modify the wheel a bit and retrofit the TTRS control’s onto the B7 Euro wheel.

First post updated with picture’s of cab seat’s and 4door seat’s. I got alot of information from Luke this morning and I need to get it all sorted and presented to you guys, but wanted to bring up one thing that bangoman mentioned in his post, these seats are all legit. They are bought through audi as Luke has a very good connection with his local dealer. The only downside is stock can vary, he can go weeks without getting a seat, but lately has been able to pick a set up almost every 2 weeks, and usually sells them before to long. He is currently setting up a new workshop and hasn’t had to much time to be working on picking new stock, but he has 4 pairs in stock:

2 - 4door RS seats
1 - Mk5 R seat
1 - cab RS seat

Luke needs a week to get into his storage to get some photo’s, but I will have a more thorough update before then.

Any chance he can get B8 RS(4) seats? I’m sure they are similar to B7’s but I would think the modules/interface may be different.

I love the look of the seats but have never sat in them. I’d be interested in the wheel for sure, depending on price.

I presume the pallet is coming to Canada as you are in BC?

I’m sure something can be sourced although I’m sure pricing will be alittle more.

After looking at photos they look extremely similar, I think the plugs maybe different and just the style of leather work as well. I’ll ask him when I hear back with photo’s.

The seats are amazing bango, completely changed the feel and looks of the car. I’m 6’5, 210lbs so I’m not a big wide dude, bit more tall and lanky, although I play goalie in hockey so I do have a slightly bigger ass end, so they are alittle tight in the hips, but it’s not uncomfortable by any means. ( I still inflate the bolsters when I want to have fun, and then I’m literally stuck in that one spot till I deflate them. )

As for shipping, I’m thinking I will find a US place to handle the inbound shipment, GBP to USD is about 0.26 cents better, not to mention I believe most of the people on the list are currently residing in the states, which would make shipping cheaper, and for the Canadian people I would make a run down and bring back to then ship inside Canada. Although another downside, I’m looking at a major port for handling the inbound as it will stop any extra charges of having to be unloaded and reloaded to make it to the final destination. With that being said I know that the longshoreman on the Seattle docks are currently on strike, and it’s starting to snowball to other ports locally with back logs, I’m hoping this would be cleared up before we do finally have everything shipped over if everything goes through.
