So here’s what I’m thinking we will do, I’ve updated the main post’s for the price of the seats, and the steering wheels, there are a couple different option’s, I will also list the mk5 R seat as it would be a good candidate for a cheaper frame to have Luke rewrap. I have pricing for trimming work by him, but will keep it to PM until I confirm with him he wants it posted, so interested parties please inquire with a PM.
Let the discussion on shipping continue as I’m all open for idea’s, as I said above I do want to be safe with all this and want all you to feel reassured as well, so landing here in Vancouver to have me repackage and ship is an option or Mr Wrong ( I’ll pm you tomorrow as its 2 am here and I have shift in 4 hours) also mentioned he has good connections on the east coast for this as well, again let the discussion continue as I want this to be open for everyone.

Seats do move quick over there so if your interested and want this to happen put your and down and we will keep the ball rolling, Luke has 4 in-stock; 2 - sedan RS4, 1 - cab RS4, 1 - MK5 R.
and if you want them you can pay and they will be put on hold for you until the final ship date.
PlushAutomotive is the company that would be holding the seats so please if needed do your research about them, he is a great guy and very very well known in the UK show scene. I feel very comfortable using him as he has answered every question i had about my seats even before I owned them, and not to mention has been very up front with me on all of this as well.

My luck I guess. sigh… I have someone in Germany scouting for a set as well - it’s been over 6 months now and nothing decent. He came across two full sets, but the condition was quite horrible so no go. At this point I’ll settle for just all leather ones. Price seems to be reasonable.
What are we thinking in terms of shipping fees? Do we have a ballpark?

the RS4 wheel is usually sold for around $900 and doesn’t include the airbag or any airbag peripherals. So it’s usually around $1500 for a fully equipped new one. Europrice charges $1700 for example.
I’ve seen used ones go for $450-500 for wheel only, but again you still need the airbag etc.
Good question. Does he have full 4 sets or just 4 individual seats? Also what colors are they? As I understand there’re two different shades of black. If you have pictures and could post those that would be great. Are RS4 ones heated?
Im definitely intrigued on the seats. I dont want to be on a list just yet because i have alot of shit im buying atm and dont have money for the seats now, maybe sometime next year. I def want to know final price with shipping. If they go to Mr. Wrong that would be cool because i can just go and pick them up.
Anyone know what the going price is for a set of B7 front recaros used?
I was asking about this recently. A guy I work with bought a standard set of black recaros, fronts only, from a B7 for $1400 a couple years ago. Not sure what that translates to now but if they’re in good condition is be willing to bet you’d get at least $1,200 for them. Depending on how fast this moves I may need to wait for a second group buy too. It sounded like 5 was all we needed to get for the group buy and I’m sure we can get 5 people pretty easily at any time.

To be honest I don’t see shipping being more then 2500 usd, which for 5 guys would be sub 4k landed in the US, I’m not sure on duties in the states but I still believe it would fall below 4k even with those added on.
Luke just set up a wholesale shipping account with FedEx, so hopefully they give us a good rate otherwise there is always the option of using a logistics company.
He is waiting on a reply from his connection at audi. Should have info by the time he gets us picture’s.
Probably the only useful information I’ve ever gotten off FT was from this picture alone, but yes I will confirm leather color. And that is correct this would only be 2 front seats.

Ya sorry my guesstimate was alittle off I appologize. If it makes you feel any better, if I hold another group buy like this, pricing will be more for the seats and steering wheel. With audi no longer having these made, once they start becoming harder to find price will increase greatly.
I’ve only ever seen one wheel for sale that was sub 800 with a airbag, and that lasted all of a day before it was sold.

He has 4 pairs of seat’s;
1 - Mk5 golf recaro buckets 3 door so
Tilting no electrics but heated
2 - Rs4 4 door seats heated and electrics
1 - Rs4 cabby seats heated electric and 3 door tilting
Also by saying electric, he means they have the inflatable bladders, all sport seats are manual adjust forward and back, same with the seat back adjustment. Reason of these seats was to cut weight so they cut down on the electric motor’s.
I sold just my 2 front rs4 seats for $2500 CAD, you might be surprised the market for them.
You get to keep Heat and then you get the inflatable bladders, but power forward and back is gone same with tilting, all manual adjustments for sport seats.
I’m thinking I’ll host another GB, not sure on a time frame for that yet, but I can almost guarantee an increase in pricing though.
Correct, and depending on how tall you are yes they do. With my current seats all the way back, (as I move the seat all the way back getting in and out to save the bolsters) I have literally a pinky space between the back and the rear bench.
