Exterior trim wrap GROUP BUY with RESTYLEIT.CA

Hey Everyone!

I’m attempting to put together a group buy with RESTYLEIT.CA for wrapping the exterior trim on our Audi’s. Regular price is $200 for a two door, and $230 for a four door car. If we can get at least five people together, then Andre from RESTYLEIT, located in Markham and Vaughn ON, has agreed to offer some kind of discount.

Preferably, he would like to schedule a Saturday where five cars are scheduled. Each job takes about two hours.

Although this is an Audi forum, there is no reason why we cant include other makes. The quotes were based on Audi’s, so there may be a different price depending on the car.

So, December gets a bit crazy, and I doubt anyone will have a Saturday free for the job. Which means we are probably looking at late November, or sometime next year.

I personally will not have my car back until 2015, so Ill be going then. But in the meantime, if we can get five people together for a Saturday in November, then we can schedule the first Audi wrap day.

So, who is in 100% for a wrap on Saturday Nov. 22nd at RESTYLEIT at the Vaughn location (VAUGHAN: 7695 JANE STREET, UNIT 1)?

PS- If that date is no good for anyone, then it can be changed. Also, there is no reason why you cant contact Andre directly at full price. The price is pretty reasonable regardless.

I did link a thread on AZ, but Ill setup an official GB thread too. I have a feeling the five spots will go fast. If need be, we can do a followup day.

I just heard from Andre, and he prefers the Vaughn location, if that works for everyone.

Yes, $230 is already a good price (don’t say it too loud as Andre from RESTYLEIT is monitoring this thread LOL), especially when you consider it is from an established and respected shop.

There are numerous Kijiji shops that pop up every week that will give you a cheaper price, but they are cutting corners all over the place (literally) to make it happen. When it peels and bubbles a few weeks later, they are no where to be found.

I have a feeling the five spots are going to fill up very quickly.

Go to RESTYLEIT.CA. Call Markham location and ask for Andre. You can mention that you are part of Michael’s group with the Audi’s.

UPDATE from Andre

5 people confirmed will get us a 15% discount
10 people is 20% discount

That is a great discount on an already very competitive price.

Timeslots will be assigned by priority, once we get at least 5 people signed up.
Depending on the jobs and number of people, we may have to go over into a second day.

questions

  1. is there a choice of matte or gloss?

  2. is there going to be any seems? i.e. the back small windows on sedans…will they use one large piece to cover the whole window then trim it down to fit the trim…or will they use a flat narrow piece and work it around the bend, necessitating a seam?

  3. any sample pics?

  4. does it include the front grill?

  5. does this include the little weird piece of aluminium on the RS4 trunk?

Good questions.

Whatever is not included can be added, including things like tinting the taillights, etc.

Ill get a response from Andre regarding your questions.

as far as the front grille goes, one piece is the only way I want it done. I also want gloss and all the grey pieces including the mirrors wrapped. I will ask all these questions when I call on Tuesday. the seams on the window trim is where I assume he will stop and start.

I have forwarded the thread to Andre at RESTYLEIT. I know he is super busy, so we will see if he has time to join and provide an update.

They have multiple locations, and a very impressive website. If anyone wants to see some of his work, the best idea is to check out their website, where there are over 30 pages of cars that they have done.

Ill make sure that we update the thread with before and after pics.
