F/s: JHM supercharged s4

Hi
I’m selling my baby. 2006 b7 s4. She has 76,xxx miles, I’ve owned it for 4-5 years, no accidents, no major repairs. It’s been adult driven, always respected and meticulously maintained. Lots of supporting mods in addition to blower kit. It also has a Fast Intentions exhaust and JH intake spacers.
All work was done by Prime Motoring in East Rutherford NJ. They dynoed it at 400whp.
The car looks and drives excellent.
Price is $25,000… I also have 4 Winter Tires if you want Them

Good looking car, glws! What u getting next?

im not sure yet. Lol.

looks like my old B7 S4. But fast!

thank you for the compliment

i have all supporting mods but the blower. Let me know if you interested in parting with it.

Let me see how much it would cost to take it off and I’ll get back to you

btw why are you selling out of curiousity?

removal/reinstall will be $2000 probably…that’s conservative.

It’s probably only adding about $3000 to the value of the car on resale. So $5,000 for the seller to breakeven and deal with a huge pain in the ass.

So unless Fast Eddie pays more than $7,000 let’s say, it doesn’t make much sense to R/R. And I can’t see why Fast Eddie would pay more than $7,000 when it’s only about $8500 new.

Thanks saki…

i really have no idea. I fuckin love the car, I think I just want something new.

FYI, my $0.02, removing the S/C isn’t worth it unless you have another car right beside it that you can swap parts to & from, i.e. at JHM. There are a lot of the stock parts that are core exchanges to JHM, or slightly modified OEM parts on the car. Rebuying those stock parts would cost an arm & a leg.

I almost went that route b/c my B7 was at JHM and I had a buyer possibly interested in swapping parts and he was going to send his car to JHM as well. But ultimately someone came in and purchased it as a whole package. And for reference, my 05.5 sold for $25k with 103k about 3 years ago I think. But I had a full bolt on JHM car basically (headers & F.I. exhaust, stg 1 s/c, IM, all mounts, all lw parts except for rear lw rotors, euro DTM bumpers, etc). When I did list it for sale, I had the person who eventually bought it contact me in less than 24hrs for a deposit, so maybe it sold a little under what I could have gotten, but I would have been happy with $21-22k frankly.

I was pretty close to buying your car and swapping everything to mine, but I decided to get out of the Marine Corps and it wasn’t the best time to take on that project.

Yea, like I said, it only makes sense to do that if you have two cars side by side to do it with imo. I do wish it had gone to one of the active forum JHM guys though, just would have been cool.

But on the plus side, the guy that bought it had already bought a built top end, headers, and IM from JHM but had not been installed yet, and since the car was at JHM, they just went ahead and did chains (no chain rattle at the time, but might as well if heads are coming off) and installed the built heads to the car and then credited him back for the undelivered headers & IM. So it was really a great win-win for both of us. Very unique find though for sure.

Yeah I remember how everything worked out pretty great. I think it would have been an interesting move by me, but I’m really happy where I’m at right now with my RS4. I think I would have always wanted the RS and probably would have moved out of the S4 regardless of how nice it would’ve been. Although the built motor would have been nice, but I’ve never really been interested in the timeline.

Well that’s partially why I also looked at a RS4 so heavily. I figured I could buy an RS4 on the west coast, give it JHM, let them swap my blower to it as 75%+ of the parts work, and then sell the S4 as a bolt on Header S4 and have a badass RS4. It is interesting to see that the STGII S4’s are seeming to perform better than the STGI RS4 though. I really thought it’d be an even match at best with the RS4’s higher redline and gearing.

I’d say the RS4 was a good move for you though. There’s always something very special about the RS4, and there’s really no arguing that.

I am close to him and would swap parts over if the price wasnt bad (prime motoring is about half hour from my house). but yeah saki, i have all the supporting mods and with the charger on sale now i can get it new for 6500.

In essense the ac lines, the pulley, the injectors and what else?

I don’t think im going to take the blower off

I’d love to go Stage 2 but it’s so expensive that it would be cheaper for me to buy an RS4, swap my kit over and sell the S4 lol.

good ideia:)
