-new guy buys PES SC kit with Eaton/harrup mp112
-people tell him lots of problems with the kit in the past
-new guy says it will be different this time
-new guy says he will make 600 whp
-people tell him that is unrealistic, point out the limitations of the blower, of the cooling…including one guy who owned the exact setup. All facts.
-people call the fact sharers “haters”
-new guy now says he will make 550 whp
-more facts shared…more hater labels
-new guy posts dyno…430 whp
-people congratulate and thank him…but nobody says “haters were right” or"new guy was full of shit"

You must be confusing whp and bhp, no? 420 whp is certainly not bad. The RS4 stock makes between 300 and 320 whp, I believe.

M90 S4’s laid down similar numbers despite this guys “flows 30% more and cooler” plug. always reminds me of the Einstein quote about repeating the same thing and expecting different results. Insanity bro. Sure the added tq down low probably feels good but it dies up top consistent with whats been said and observed.

For me its not even about new guy. If he wants to try something (that few thinks is) different that is cool. Even though it has already been done a half a dozen times lol (112 swaps on PES cars).

Anyway I an more annoyed with the way the sensitive faggotts are jumping on anyone who corrects the perfervid horsepower predictions new guy is making.

If someone has the experience to know what is about to happen…and/or has seen it all before… maybe listen to what they have to say. You might learn something!

P.S. One funny thing in the thread is dannyrs4/blownRS4/ttsrs4…who used to be Pesrs4…slamming the door on new guy’s expectations because he knows it won’t add up. Danny used to have a pes m90 and m112 and used to lose it on me for telling him the same things he is saying now. I told him all of these things on a5oc 2 years ago…back when Danny was"new guy" :slight_smile:

Its the PES deseeze. Its a simple plauge. People want to think that they can spend crap money and get gold. PES has been a fail for 10 years now. Still these people line up to piss there money wawy. Look at All the PES failed customers. In the bigining all the PES customers make excuses. they all made an attempt to stick up for PES. After about the 12th excuse the people just hide or sell there kit.

Probably. I have been having trouble with my reading comprehension these days. It would make much more sense, and would definitely be way more impressive.

^^^the supercharged B6/7 S4/RS4 numbers were almost always impressive. VF and PES guys were dynoing 400+ whp with Eaton M90 superchargers…then running quarter mile times in the 12.6-12.9 range…a.k.a. like a 320 whp car.

You might ask ‘were the dynos doctored?’ I’m not so sure, as a number of them were independant dynos. The cars just look good on the dyno, but in the real world…not so much.

so here are the guy’s dyno numbers. 318/256 stock, 423/395 supercharged

I’m having a hard time believing the torque is that strong. Guess we’ll see. An RS4 with that power and that torque should comfortably run 11.8 @ 117 or thereabouts, provided he knows how to drive.

guys like that are big ego…so he will likely pre-announce with excess confidence that he’s going to the strip. He won’t be able to hide after he does that. Guys need to ask him about it enough and then he’ll say when he’s going.

If you look at the profile on the dyno though, it’s nothing like any of the other Eaton/Harrup 5th gen dynos we’ve seen on Audis. Here’s a silly question: Is the guy he is paying to tune it the one who is producing the dynos?
