Don’t know, don’t care.
Stats don’t win golf tournaments - low scores do.

Incredible performance by Spieth. He’s not letting up!! Only downside is that it portends a boring weekend.
another interesting fact; Phil in 2001 was 67-69-69-70. Had he mustered a 69 on Sunday…he’d have still lost. (to Woods, who was 70 on Thursday, the only round he had north of 69 that tournament as well lol)
I like him a lot, and he’s 21 so it will not be boring no matter what
He will either implode aggressively at some point, or he will go on and make some history.
Charlie Hoffman is 5 under, AGAIN. Pretty hilarious.
nobody discounted the value of scoring or good fortune. However if you’ve ever played golf at a high level, you realise that keeping your luck up for a whole round is tough…nevermind 4 days from 7400 yards.
I said to clochner that he’s not going to win if he doesn’t get his game under control. He’s 6 today, so it will be interesting to see the highlights. I don’t imagine he’ll be scrambling his face off with 40% fairways though.
wow, the “anyone within ten shots of the lead” rule is meaningless this year. 4 under, where pretty much the rest of the top of the leaderboard is!
4 under is 3rd. And 10 shots back lol. Nuts.
Hoffman is about to go to 11

Lessee, 6 under today, 6 birdies, no bogeys, breaks the Masters’ all-time 36-hole scoring record.
Seems that he has his game under control so far.
(“past results are no guarantee of future performance” notwithstanding)
So in '97 Tiger was 70-66-65-69. 8 under through Thursday and Friday. Oh, the possibilities…
[quote=“zcd1”]
how many fairways and greens did he hit?
interesting fact: nobody has ever had 4 rounds in the 60s in this tournament.
Tiger was pretty close…he was 40-30 in that first round.

that’s funny, didn’t you just say he’s in control of his game? and aren’t you like a 20?

Did you guys see Dustin Johnson and Adam Scott hit their approaches on 15 yesterday?? 224/223 yards, BOTH hit it to about 2 feet, one right after the other!
Amazing, and an example of what makes the Masters so fun to watch.
Spieth seems so unflappable. How does do it? At 21 years old no less
Ya and they looked like synchronized swimmers bending over to mark their balls it was hilarious
