Heard on Feherty that Oosterhous has Alzeimers. Shit.

I only know his name because he has hired some smokin hot nannies (Tiger’s Ex-Wife)

Bravo Sergio. Never been much a fan of his but found myself rooting for him. Solid Masters.

Same

It was another epic Sunday at Augusta - my favorite televised sporting event every year.

Very happy for Sergio.

yeah, that was great. Most demonstrative winner I’ve seen of any tour event in 20 years. For 10 minutes straight he was fist pumping and cheering. Awesome.

So John Daly wins on the Champions Tour - it had been over 13 years since his last professional win, and a year since he joined the Senior Tour…

Is that the longest gap between professional wins ever?

he had a win in Europe last year that whoever reported that is forgetting (not a big win, but a professional win)

and does a senior tour win really count? generally when people talk about these gaps between wins it’s at the same level…aka PGA tour to PGA tour

I mis-quoted what I’d read - 13 years between PGA Tour events - sorry.

I was more curious whether anyone was aware of a longer gap between professional wins, regardless of tour…

yeah, the PGA Tour likes to legitimize the senior tour by lumping it in. Funny.

His win last year was kind of a Polish Golf Association event primarily for club professionals. I don’t know how the fuck he ended up there, but he won it which was funny. I think his prize was like $5,000. I thought ‘that has to be rock bottom for him…that right there’ but he proved me wrong this week.

I actually have a bet with a friend about Daly that we made 5 years ago

He: “Daly is going to come out and dominate the senior tour”

Me: “I don’t think so. In fact I think there’s a small chance he will die before he turns 50”

So we bet and qualified ‘dominate’ as multiple wins and being at or near the top of the money list. The stakes were a round at the other guy’s course. We’ve both moved since then, so I’ll be claiming a round at Bay Hill now. Always a fun place but it will be sad going there without Arnie being there. The other 10 times I was there, Arnie was there every day waving from his cart, giving thumbs up for good tee shots on 1 etc. Bummer.

Who do you all think has good odds to fare well at the players?

Always a fun tourney to watch!

Dustin Johnson…unless he has another ‘accident’.

By show of hands, how many of you picked Si Woo Kim to win The Players?
