If you have Vag Com, you can pull the fuel hose off the hard line and empty the tank via vcds.
Takes a couple minutes to do from start to finish – just make sure the car is cold when you pop the lines as it will spray everywhere.
I drain my pump gas into a couple jerry cans, fill up with race gas, run around the block then switch to the 100 file. Burn up my gas at the track, fill up on premium on my way home, dump the stuff at home back in the tank when you make room.
I just used PVC hose in the fuel filler neck. Siphon into a drum/jerry can by applying suction from a shop vac on the drum/can, to get it started. Let gravity do the rest.
Take that pvc pipe and hook it up to the hardline, push button on your computer and watch your fuel pump do all the work. Quick and easy. Plus you you completely drain the lines.

The current forecast is constantly changing and, at the moment, shows a significant chance of rain. If that happens, is anyone interested in going on Sunday? Weather will not even reach the 60’s on Sunday so the conditions will be great.
Fingers crossed that Saturday still works.
I appreciate the suggestions. If I had some kind of workspace, I would definitely look into this. Unfortunately, I park in a public garage with about 250 other cars. It’s really not feasible to even try draining the tank. Not to mention there’s not even a flat surface to work on - it’s all incline/decline.

Agreed. If it ends up Sunday, I plan to get there at open, knock of a couple of mind-blowing 10 second runs* and then head home.

Unclamp the soft line, hook your 1/4" hose to one end of the hard line and the other end to a gas can
Set laptop on supercharger, plug in vagcom.
Empty gas tank.

Let’s push to Sunday instead then. This will probably be my last time for the season, so I’d rather go when conditions are favorable. I’m still on a full tank of 93, so that’s what I’ll be running on Sunday. I assume it’s just us two now.
