I hope everybody’s car runs better than they expected for 2013. I also hope that the guys who spent over $20,000 on their builds put their excuses to rest and show the interworld that their cars aren’t just a piggy bank.
FAW, I don’t understand why you’re so damn hung up on builds and their underlying cost. You can’t even wish a everyone a Happy New Year without a stupid comment referring to a 20k build.
Yes, I’m well aware of your love connection with NY07 which is likely where your comment is directed, but geez. It’s clear you might not have the ability to set aside such an amount for a build of your own. At this point, I question if your earning potential as a human exceeds 20k.
Are you asking for money? Would you like others to send you checks in the mail? Does it make you mad that others have the ability to set aside 20k for car parts n’ stuff? Figure it out FAW, you have a new year to do so.

Are you smoking crack ? I was not thinking of Ny07 when I made this thread. Dude you sound like you are on drugs. The drugs are destroying your thought process. Also, if you don’t have a build that you’ve spent over $20k on, I think that you should just focuse on your less modifiable NA automobile. But if you do have a over $20,000 flop in your garage, Lol, why haven’t you put it on the track yet? Minus your many excuses.
If a person spends money to enhance the performance of their car, I’m pretty sure they would like to see how well the parts perform. I bet in your case, you are just too afraid of under performing, which is why you probably have a couple excuses of why you haven’t taken your over priced lackluster modified b5 to the track yet.
I average around 3-4 meals a day, then I take a dump. That’s alot of track events. You should have at least two time slips for your b5 that you are willing to share, Lol. But I’m pretty sure again that the drugs and lackluster results are destroying your thought process. Hence your reasoning for not posting results for the car you spent over $20k in mods on.
I’m pretty sure it is nine minutes of nothing pertaining to your b5’s performance results. Can you please post a pic of your more than $20,000 modded s4’s time slip? Something that we all can focuse on for one second, then congratulate you on. Stop trying to convince yourself that your $20,000 flop doesn’t exist young man!
Saying NO, to cocaine should have been #1 on your to do list before you spent over $20k to build a car so that you could tell your close friends that “there is a beast hibernating inside my garage for the winter”, Lol. Bring that beast out so that, that beast can compete with the real animals on the street.
Well here is a real gem! FAW showing us a real beast, of course we don’t know if the camera is strapped to your moms corolla or what the hell it’s attached to.
I loved how Epl claimed their customers go to the track… The one with left and right turns.
Great, thats a great way to measure the performance gains from a power mod. lol
Jupiter posting your ‘nine minutes of time slips’ doesn’t hold water. Very Epl like
Get your ass over to palm beach international raceway, the fastest dragstrip in the world, and show the world what the 770 can do! Go with Jnaut and his no tune, stock catback rs4 (if you ask him nicely he might agree not to beat your et!)
Holy fuck… Just watched that video. FAW, you drive like a fucking retard. Passing on the double line on that bend, weasling around those two suvs to turn right, then weasling up to the front of the line at the light in the right turning lane… Wow. You’re the guy who buds in line at the coat check, then gets his head bust open by a drunk boxer and asks ‘why me’ ?
I don’t have a problem with people who spend $20k or better on their builds, I just find it strange that after some of them take their cars to the track and flop, they tell people that they never took the car to the track. Jupiteraudi said that he is always at the track, but for some strange reason he is acting like he doesn’t have a time slip for his b5. Why is he so afraid to post what his car did. He has no problem posting the results of his v8, but not man enough to let everyone know the results of his more than $20k build.
I hope your car does well and if it don’t please don’t start telling people that your car was only built for Autocross.
I’ll share time slips, the last time I ran the wagon in the 1/4 was with K03’s. I think I have a video as well. I haven’t run it with 770’s b/c I’ve had a real bitch of a time between the 605 failure and the fiasco associated with. I will get there soon, hopefully before March.
I’ll definitely post times for my car. I’ll even go with the laxy-daisy initial tune. If the car fails, the car fails. That won’t embarrass me any. What may embarrass me is my own personal crappy driving as I’m new to manual transmissions. But Jnaut will take the car down the track and see what it can really do. This way we’ll have some accurate idea what MY SPECIFIC ingredients can achieve. Whatever that may be - fine. If it does great, I’ll be happy. If it doesn’t, I’ll be disappointed - as surely will everyone else. I don’t see it as a “me vs you” kind of thing. It is what it is. We’re all in this together - it just happens to be my own money. If I didn’t have it to waste, I would have never gambled with this project in the first place.
