Hidden Horsepower; Stock Intake + Silencer

I’ve been out driving my car today since the epoxy has had time to cure. First few trips it didn’t feel or sound any different other than a little change to the exhaust tone. Last few drives, I’ve had some chances to step on it and go. It doesn’t feel any different other than having a more linear power onset. Then you also look down and you’re going 60 when it feels like you should only be doing 40.

The jhm tune is cool like that… it seems to be constantly monitoring things…when you make changes to the csr you can almost fesl it adapt…for a free mod the air box gives what looks like a good amount of gusto. .

I did this mod to my car today and was wondering if anyone has confirmed what the hose that comes off the front of the box is for!

Quattrodude welcom man…depends on what yoyr talking about. There are three things that are connected to the air box that dont take the air to the throttle body.

You have the air dam on top of the air box coming from the front…then there is the secondairy air lead that is at the bottom and then the scilencdr and air restricfion that you removed

That is the secondary air pump pick up…nothing crazy most guys remove it

The Silencer’ little black box’ what did you do just remove it and blank it off

yup, just took it out and blocked off port on tube!
