I will not remain quiet any longer.......

I am sorry about that. Its a shame it wasn’t able to be developed as upgradeable but there were very good reasons for it when the decision was made although it was awhile ago so I don’t remember the engineering specifics.

Due to pretty much all Stage 3(+)'s being a combination of loss leaders and halo products for us, there isn’t much room in them for discounts.

But send me an email, klucas@goapr.com, and I’ll see what I can do. But please don’t be upset if its not much.

Here is the statement that they issued to distributors. Sorry that it’s a pic. It’s a screenshot of a text.

Overall, nothing really substantial. Seems like the same denials or lack of acknowledgement as the email Keith posted above.

Btw, I’d like Matt’s #. Anyone have it?

Did I read that right?

" apr is known for the best performance software and hardware in the world"

First you guys planned to shock the entire tuning industry with your med17 direct port programming, this was an extreme overstatement, 99% of the tuning industry didn’t even care.

Now you guys are the “best in the world”

I guess you need an extra pat on the back to wake up every morning going to work fearing that you may get hit with 10 more lawsuits.

Subscribed.

Thats because the entire tuning industry already knew about the DPP solution from CMD (which others on a european forum indicated was stolen from OCT) that could be purchased months before APR’s release.

An equity company is never going to say that they’ve made a bad investment.

Dave

;D that was funny.

Seriously, though, find me a CEO that doesn’t believe their products are the best in the world. Would be rather un-CEO like to not believe that.

and as whole, I believe it too. But I’m sure you could nit pick through our over 500 products and find some competitors that do some things better according some people or maybe even most.

Its also subjective. Some people like some aspects of our products over others and vice versa. But if you believe your products do what you want and meet the philosophy of the company, then yeah, you would believe they are the best.

I prefer iOS over Android and think its the best in the world. Others prefer Android and think its the best in the world. Sure, both have room for improvement and your taste and my taste may differ.

I agree with your statement about hyping the MED17 release but our guys were excited. Maybe a bit over excited but you live and learn. Some dealers were just as excited as us about not having to remove ECU’s. Some end users were “meh” just like you. Again depends on your perspective.

I prefer iOS over Android and think its the best in the world.

You’re not so bad Keith, stick around, maybe chime into our mangrove to iPhone thread, tell those androider’s what’s what!

Hot damn! that was almost a compliment.

“not so bad”

Take what you can get in tough times!

Where are you now? Germany did I hear? Got tired of MK?

He drank all the beer and ate all the sausage in the UK. Germany was the next logical choice.

Not only will I give you “almost compliments”

But here is a friendly gesture, a bunny with a pancake on it’s head

Yeah, I’m in a cool spot. Germany is the place for APR to be and the place for me to be. All of the cars, all of the contacts, most of the competition in the same spot. Unrestricted Autobahn for “testing” and I love the food, beer and people.

I really didn’t care much for the UK but I prolly just didn’t adjust well.

lol@mec

Thanks for that.

This is how I envision Matt wakes up every morning

I have a question. I don’t know the ins and outs of APR or what happened to it but from reading what others in the know posted, why stop the BS “today”?

Why didn’t anyone stop the “BS” when it was in its infancy before it became the “BS” it is today.

We temporarily adopted a no response policy but I broke that today.

What’s a “no response policy”?

I think he means no public comment on the restructuring and other related details. Makes sense, as APR is a private company and sensibly does not want its internal affairs being discussed publicly.

However, once the news spread like a wildfire, I think they decided it was best to at least offer a response.

Welcome to AR Keith!
