Unfortunately, no.
At the seam connecting the fender and bumper, the bare metal is exposed and crinkled pretty severely. I was being optimistic about it but I just did a more thorough inspection with a flashlight last night and the tabs connecting the panels are also broken too.
This section had just been repainted back in November after someone rear-ended me. I would have flipped if someone broke the RS6 grill; that took way too long to get here and I don’t think I could stand that wait again.
In regard to insurance, I might get an estimate and just pay out of pocket based on that. This would be my third claim this year and I don’t like what that might do to me. Previous two were people who rear-ended me, this is my first hit-and-run and I gotta say, it’s infuriating.
I’m going to try and do everything in my power to find the party responsible but, at the moment, my chances don’t look too great. I’m still going to contact a couple of buildings in the area for security footage but unfortunately the condos across the street and the parking lot don’t have footage. No paint transfer either.
I’ve considered posting a reward but I might play the Mega Millions instead.
