well i was told today that I will be given options tomorrow on how I want to get paid out… Guess that means the car will be totaled. trying to decide if i will buy back and part out
otherside is the gf isnt doing as well. 2 visits to the ER already and shes got quite a few doctor visits coming up. seems to be a spine/neck injury, as well now her “minor” concussion has been labeled as severe. insurance is trying to pay her off but this wont be over for awhile
The best of luck to you and her. I sustained a spinal injury almost 12 years ago and it has plagued my life ever since. In the last 13 months, I’ve had back surgery twice and I’m lucky to still be walking. I hope the insurance takes care of her.

Damn, that sucks to hear, and even moreso about your GF. Cars can be easily replaced, people not so much. I hope she pulls through quickly and comes out OK, and you don’t have to fight too hard with insurance or anything. Good luck with everything.

Rachel went to a concussion doctor and MRI last thursday. They found 2 bulging dics in her neck which is causing her pain. The concussion at the time wasnt getting any better. Today it seems better as her dizziness and nausea is gone. She is going to physical therapy next week for her neck issue
I havent heard anything on my day, which really irritates me. I was told I would have my payout options on Tuesday. Its now sunday and I have not heard a thing. I am gearing up for a fight with the insurance company

I decided to not buy back the car. Ive kept a few things that I am selling. I have my wheels and tires, my carbon hood, and maxton splitters front &sides
I bought a new vehicle, but more for needs than wants. I picked up a 2011 chevy 2500hd with the duramax diesel. My old truck had 320,000 miles on it and I really was starting to worry about the reliability on it. Sad to say, I am not sure I will ever return back to an Audi.

Ive already had it tuned, 5" turbo back exhaust. no cats. no dpf, no blue def, no muffler. I think it might be faster than my s4 was lol…

WOW 1700 thats a lot of great parts for almost nothing. It would be interesting to find the yard that bought the car and see about getting parts from the car. Its a shame because all of the parts looked well picked and quality parts

The car is being parted on Facebook groups, imho at a bit high pricing but that’s just me… I was almost sure the shop that purchased it was gonna fix and sell as a whole.
I was literally a couple of minutes late to the sale, otherwise I’d have purchased it… Sad to see this thing being ripped apart after so much love was put into it. At least somebody will get quality parts, that is if they want to overpay LOL
