Well I do really want an FI system, but I had some trouble last night. I was sitting in traffic and got rear ended pretty hard. Girlfriend ended up with a minor concussion and sprained neck. I’m sore but okay. I’ll post some pictures when I get home from work today. Right rear quarter panel is crumpled to the tire so things aren’t looking good at the moment

Body shop thinks he wont have an issue getting it approved for repair by the insurance company. im not so sure but I will find out friday when the adjuster comes out to look at the car

well insurance called friday… no word on status of the vehicle but they did ask about if i would want to remove parts in the case of a total loss…
not sure what that means yet but gut says not good

the adjuster asked me to send every receipt of major modifications… I think i sent them about 10-15k in receipts LOL
I was told today that my car is “too specialized” to be cost efficient to repair. I am supposed to get my wheels, carbon hood, and radio out of the car this week. I am going to talk to them about getting money for the engine, or the engine itself with all the work and money I have into it

well i was told today that I will be given options tomorrow on how I want to get paid out… Guess that means the car will be totaled. trying to decide if i will buy back and part out
otherside is the gf isnt doing as well. 2 visits to the ER already and shes got quite a few doctor visits coming up. seems to be a spine/neck injury, as well now her “minor” concussion has been labeled as severe. insurance is trying to pay her off but this wont be over for awhile
The best of luck to you and her. I sustained a spinal injury almost 12 years ago and it has plagued my life ever since. In the last 13 months, I’ve had back surgery twice and I’m lucky to still be walking. I hope the insurance takes care of her.

Damn, that sucks to hear, and even moreso about your GF. Cars can be easily replaced, people not so much. I hope she pulls through quickly and comes out OK, and you don’t have to fight too hard with insurance or anything. Good luck with everything.

Rachel went to a concussion doctor and MRI last thursday. They found 2 bulging dics in her neck which is causing her pain. The concussion at the time wasnt getting any better. Today it seems better as her dizziness and nausea is gone. She is going to physical therapy next week for her neck issue
I havent heard anything on my day, which really irritates me. I was told I would have my payout options on Tuesday. Its now sunday and I have not heard a thing. I am gearing up for a fight with the insurance company
