Interesting work-around… Any pics of the setup?
Update. I’ve finally broken in the new JHM 5R clutch and PP and today I beat the crap out of it and it performed flawlessly.

How long is the break in? 1K miles?
How does the pedal feel?
Break-in is 500 miles.
The pedal is a little heavier but by the second day, I couldn’t feel the extra weight.
The clutch itself is extremely aggressive (read on or off). Creeping takes some getting used to so bumper to bumper traffic requires little spurts of gas. Parallel parking is probably the worst because you can’t just get up and go.
It’s taken me until now to really get the hang of it and from time to time I still don’t do it right and get hard chatter but those times are reducing in frequency just from getting used to it. I’m very happy with it but I would only recommend it for people who need it. For those that are on stock S4 power, the stage 4 is most likely all they really need. For people with RS4 power or above, it’s probably a good idea to get it if you start encountering a sticky pedal. That said, it took me 2 months post SC / clutch break-in to start getting the sticky pedal on the stock RS4 PP so I’ll have to see how it performs within the next 6 months.
