you can always do it on the side, see what kind of success you have, then drop it on the community once you’re ready.
I would frankly always do that if I were a tuner.
create product
test the hell out of it
produce results and proof of results (1/4 mile and pbox times, and also have dyno info in your back pocket for down the road)
launch product out of the clear blue
If you can do something like that I think you’ll have some success. JHM used to do this to us in the B6/7 community. Out of the clear blue a supercharger video showed up one day when nobody even knew they were working on a supercharger. Same with the headers and the intake manifold etc.
