Thank you.
Well, it sounds like my build will be finished tomorrow. Then the tuning process begins on Monday. I guess I’ll have the car to drive around in next week. Pretty cool.

Yeah. I like the way they look on the B5 S4. I’ll be adding these very soon.

This came from the factory in 2 different positions, depending on whether you had the late or early style IM
I have a set of those OEM fitment all around on my A6 project, I am a big fan
To each his own, but those rims don’t really belong on an S4, they will also not help you get into the 10s…look for something that looks good and is light weight.
Fair enough, I run OZ SL’s on my FT’ed S4 for weight savings
Hey Zero, Euro has a good point. Your car/project is primarily geared for performance, I would consider looking for something lighter, enkei’s, ssr’s and oz have several nice options. I think the gallardo’s look real nice but shaving pounds of rotational mass has many all around benefits. I don’t even know how much they weigh but I’m guessing at least 7lbs more than some of the lighter other alternatives which are in the 17-18lb range for 18’s.
SSR’s are the only option, specifically 17"x8.5" Comps in Gunmetal with 255/40/17 Hankook RS3s

you can even run them in the snow!

yours for $2k!!!
Still love that pic of the A6
Those ssr would be great on a B5 because they’re appropriately scaled. They actually looked good on the C5 even.
Cassiopeia wheels on the B5 though would probably be too big and too heavy.
Anyone want to post some more good looking lightweight wheels for the B5 S4? I’d love to see more options. I love the way to Lamborghini Gallardo wheels look but - true - I’m not crazy about the idea of adding weight.
Budget? I could post some really nice forged wheels that keep the car looking great, but you may be out $4000.
A great wheel I have never seen B5 guys talk about is the BBS RE. It is a forged versoin of the BBS CO/CH that everyone seems to like. Slightly different design though.
They weigh 17 lbs each. Tough to find as they’re discontinued. A user on Audizine has a set…BRUNO S4.
what colour is your B5? Here they are on a Santorin car.
Sorry its off topic. Can I get more pix of this car.
That used to be Count Vohn’s car, then it was Dan@JHM’s car, then it was beemercer’s car. I think.
There may be some videos of it or photos, but beemercer has since sold it I believe.
My car is Santorin also. So it would look just like that. How heavy are the stock wheels? And I wonder how heavy the Gallardo replicas are…
Zero, what is your brake situation? I thought you had a BBK which won’t be a problem for most 18’s. My vote goes to the SSR’s. The BBS wheels Saki mentioned are sweet too but might be tough to find. For what it’s worth I run LM’s on the street and Kosei’s (bought used) on the track with R888’s. I can feel a big difference in overall handling between the two with the LM’s at 23lbs and the Kosei’s at 16lbs. If I remember correctly the stock wheels are 26ish.
the stocker Avus wheels are in the 25 lb range I think. Hopefully someone chimes in. It’s shocking for a 17" wheel.
The Cassiopoeia wheels weigh as much as the moon.
^^^ hysterical! “As much as the moon”

Front Rotors - JHM 2-piece Lightweight for B5 S4 - Rotor Style: Slotted - Rotor Bolt Type: Zinc Plated (silver)
The person I’m buying the Gallardo replicas says they’re 20lbs each…
edit: Seems they’re 23lbs each:

The stock 17" Avus wheels are anywhere between 26 and 29 pounds each. So it seems these wouldn’t necessarily be a BAD buy. They look great and they’re an improvement.
