From what I gather the non cali 91 is still an improvement
Yep. Already passed through CO though. I was in a hurry to get home. Here are a few pictures from along the way.
This is Vail Pass Summit at just over 2 miles up in elevation.

Then I spent like eight hours on I70 to get through Kansas. There is nothing in Kansas!

Thats some long mile elevation testing. Looks great.
poor kansas… LOL
Oh yeah. I had never been that high up in elevation before and it was cold. I think that it was like 43 degrees outside at 12:30 AM MST.
Kansas fits the bill as a flyover state.
It’s amazing how slow our cars are at that elevation. Kansas definitely sucks lol.
Are you back home yet… I heard you were in my part of town. Any chance on comming back up this way. I might take my car to the track later this year just for fun.
Also I have driven through Kansas and I dont think I have ever seen another Audi. I think I was like the only one in the state at the time
Jimmy is already back home Justin. I might be headed out there to visit Kurt in a little bit, it’d be cool to meet you too this time.
MDUBZ is right that I am back home. I was in Detroit a while ago. Later on when it cools down, I want to run my car at the track. Need to test out a few new parts. You should meet up with MDUBZ.
Long time bump.
I took the S4 to the dragstrip this morning to get more seat time and see what I could run. Broke the left front axle again and that is seven front axles so far. This was the stronger axle that I got from the Driveshaft Shop too.

That sucks man, get any clean passes in? Videos? Miss my S4 sometimes, decided to check and see how this forum is doing.
That was the very first launch so I didn’t get any passes in.
What…it ddn’t look like you even did anything. How much air pressure did you have in the tires. I would leave really soft off the line. IF you think about it if you watch the JHM stage 1 video with the Automatic they are only launching the automatic S4s at about 2200 rpm and that car got into the low 12s

I was using launch control. You can hear it setup at like 5K rpms, then I let the clutch up, and snap. The tires had like 40 psi in them since I didn’t lower them from driving to the track. I expected to spin with that much air pressure. However you can hear my shoes scrunch from sticking to the track really well.
This boggles my mind and I just want to make some clean passes.

Got everything dialed in and then got greedy with one last run before the track closed. I was kind of impressed with myself because I sheared the axle shaft in half. Never done that before.
