From what Ive been told the exhaust really is a big difference on the older 4.2. It would have been nice to see a stock 100% a6 but its good to have something to stack up againsted

Quick Update
Just thought I’d share a little clip showing one of the things we’ve been working on as part of the JHM 3 Liter tune. This is from the 6 speed we have here at the shop. ENJOY!
Quit making all the awesome stuff for the 3.0 guys, get back to the V8Revolution!
In truth though, I’m glad to see the 3.0 guys get some lovin, but I like seeing the innovative stuff on my platform best.

Yea. . . you got me there. I’m just tired of still working on my car. Not really s/c related, just fighting some little gremlins from pulling the motor/the wreck, and not having the motivation/energy to finish the little details. I’m getting there, but I probably have another week or two before all is said and done. . . hopefully.
But, you can’t blame me for being a tad jealous seeing all these great innovations come out for the 3.0 after the past 2yrs dedicated to the V8 game. All in all, I don’t think anyone but a couple 3.0 guys even knew JHM was looking at making some 3.0 products.
I keep busting countvoughn balls to see the LA developed on the s/c cars b/c I miss it, but he said it’s a ground up revision that is going to take a little bit, especially since the main priority for the S/C is still fine tuning for every bit of acceleration while still being safe. I haven’t been to the track in months though, so it’s not like I’m missing much in reality. But I can’t wait to see what can be accomplished for LA on the blower cars knowing that all of them pretty much have upgraded clutches and catless dp’s at minimum.

I wish I could be over there in the states to feel what full JHM S4 is like…LA on a SC car would be amazing.
Have to say that I have been jealous the whole time this program has been going, as I would love to have engine back in my car so I can start putting all this stuff on.
I do hear you about getting motivation to fix all the annoying little things it can be such a pita.
Gah that’s such a tease! LA is soooo sick, too bad you shut it down after the first shift. Definitely curious to know the performance stats on the 6spd as opposed to the 3.0.

You guys at JHM do amazing work, I would hate to see it but you should be in Germany working on new models coming out.
That auto launch looks nuts, especially now that you added the comparison video to a stock auto launch.
LA, looks pretty good, its hard for me to tell the difference just from a video since I have never even launched my car. I’ve taken off the line before but never have I turned off the ESP and smashed on it like that. But now it looks tempting. Maybe after a tune, dp’s and exhaust.
But first it looks like I might be getting USP kit since I had a couple little fender benders on my rear bumper and driver side fender/lower non USP valence. I called the Audi dealer in Sacramento and they have all the parts I need for like 800$ which isn’t bad since I don’t have to wait or worry about shipping or damages or any other BS. I will do my best to post before and after pics.
The whole kit??? That seems like a really good deal! I’m going to do a usp front lower soon. Having taken my bumper off I realized it’s a pretty easy install, and the part is only like $150.

I believe I read that the 0-60 for a 6 speed is about 6.9, but i’m sure that can differ a lot depending on the driver and how good the owner is on keeping up maintenence.
150 plus shipping I’m guessing?, from dealer its like 2 something I forget the exact price but No not the whole kit, just the front lower USP, and the USP fog grills, and USP lower center grill and a fuel filter and it came out to like almost 800$ but I have to call back and see if they have a fender too cuz I need the Drivers side. A guy on AZ had the rear peice for like 400 shipped but I think I’m going to pass and just paint the rear lower. So if anyone else is looking for the rear I would check AZ classifieds.
Help with install?? That would be aswome if thats what you meant but I am afraid to even touch my car cuz I am not that experienced especially with body work. I actually just changed my spark plugs and air filter over the weekend and was amazed I accomplished the job! lol But yea, either way I would still love to stop by and meet ya and check each others cars out and stuff.
Even if I could install the front USP myself which I doubt I can cuz I don’t have any tools necessary to do it and doesn’t it need to be painted before I install it???

at about 3k rpm, this motor kicks in, and pulls allllll the way to the redline! cant wait for JHM to introduce their goodies to the general public!

Im head over heals inlove with mine. I went from stock to tuned for testing then tuned and TCU tuned for testing. When I was TCU Tuned and ECU Tuned the car felt strong. Then I had to give it all back as It was just for testing. Now I have both again and MAN its nice. You really see how big of a difference there is when you go back and forth like that.
