JHM B5 S4 with JHM RS6-R turbos goes 10.88 @ 130

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JglEI7LqLP8&feature=player_embedded

It was posted on audizine by some B5 guy. He said ‘thought I’d posted it here for all to see, and for the B6 guys’

I guess he doesn’t understand that the B6 guys he’s jabbing at knew about this pass 10 days ago…and were trying to smack some sense into his B5 brothers for eating the pipeline of bullshit coming from the Tial salesmen, not knocking the B5’s potential. In any event enjoy.

Check out Jay’s reaction. Not when he gets the slip, or hear’s from someone what his time was. Nope…just when he knows he launched hard and nailed every single shift. And god fucking damn does he ever nail shifts. What the fuck.

nice work, still full interior it seems too

That’s some damn fine driving, I would be stoked if I pulled a run off like that

That was a great run. The shifting was on point.

Jason nice job!!! You must be making 800whp like the Tial 770 cars lol! The best part from my understanding Jason was on a base file, no meth & with stereo system still in the trunk etc. Can we see possible mid - lower 10ss with more tuning ands some weight savings!!

yeah, he had full interior…and vs. his old K04 11.1 @ 130 time

full exhaust vs. open dumps (+40 lbs?)
steel hood vs. carbon fibre hood (+40 lbs?)

SO 80 lbs heavier than the old run…and Jay has probably gained 10lbs with age

All in all pretty frigging awesome.

Not to mention JHM has no seat or tuning time on this new setup! I believe he can run lower than 10.50 @ 135+mph once he gets really serious.

What I respect about JHM, there’s no fancy b.s dyno charts, just one day we sign on the forums and get slapt in the face with world record passes from real street cars on tape.

JHM keep up the great work & thank you for not butt fucking us with dyno #sss lol!!

very true. The customers are the last to know about product development and we only really get to see stuff when it’s thoroughly tested…which is kinda the way it should be.

Best part is that you don’t have to spend 30k to do what Jason did! This is a realistic car for most guys “hell most have spent far more to get far less”

x2

This is hows its done ladies and gentlemen! No hype, No BS, No stupid dynos, Just raw hardcore proof of how JHM gets it done! Way to go Jason, and the rest of the JHM crew!

Just plain fucking awesome. What gas was he running? I love the black plume of smoke - wish i could do that at every light

Agreed. I believe it was c16

Couple of questions, why does he turn the car off and then on when he is coming back from the run, I noticed this in Counts video for the LA for tip cars as well?

Also isn’t the K04 11.1 run @ 130mph as well, if the RS6 turbos on C16 with 2.8 heads should be putting more power down why did he get the same/similar trap (there is probably a good explanation but I am a noob when it comes to interpreting times, but I am learning from all of saki’s posts)

^I bet with more seat time and more refined tuning he’ll pick up some mph. Shift points will help the mph, especially with bigger turbos.

The 10.8 run was the very first run since 2007, so give it time. Also SAC has had serious MPH issues for a long time now. If you look at his mph gauge he is about 135mph or so.

But yes, over time learning the shift points, finding the sweet spot, etc… will perform in better times.

He turned the car off to allow it too cool down sooner before the next run.

lots of people are saying he didn’t rev it enough on the launch and that it was a shit 60 foot

if you trap 130, but ET 10.8, your 60 foot is NOT shit.

ANyone have the whole timeslip?>

Idk saki, with that trap, the car has a 10.4-10.3 in it for sure

He needs some sticky tires and dump the clutch as 6k haha. snap goes axle.

probably a 1.7 60 ft. no way it was worst then that.

10.4-10.3 is a world from 10.89. Just think of the difference going from 12.89 (like cabracco all motor on piggies) to 12. 3 (like cabracco on the nitrous)…it’s a huge jump, and that’s in the 12s. Doing the same jump in the 10s takes way more, as you know. Further, he already ran 11.1 @ 130/131 a couple years ago…and has shaved 3 tenths off that but is at the same trap.

Watching that video and Jay’s reaction I don’t think he left anything on the table. I also don’t think they ran 10.89 then 10.91, 10.95, 10.93 a bunch of times…sounded like this was better than the other runs that day, based on the reactions and the lack of other times shared.
