I’m still very doubtful and wouldn’t waste my money. It was beyond the horrible integration on WinCE (which I’m glad they’re dumping), but it was also the build quality and feel/finish of the unit. The Buttons were very shoddy feeling and the rest of the unit wasn’t much better. I installed the unit and on the first time I tried to remove to adjust wiring I had one of the spring tension retaining clips break (i.e. radio key removal key didn’t work on it anymore but it was still locked in place). I miracoulsly got it out and made it so that clip would no longer engage, then the new time I tried to remove another clip broke. I had to remove a good chunk of my center console/dash to get an angle that I could get a small pic/flathead to push down on the clip and remove the unit (this was at the point that I was already sending the unit back in, so very frustrating at the thought of destroying the unit or part of my dash just to get it out).

There are a lot of good reviews, and if you’re just wanting a way to give a RSN-E appearance and maybe throw in iPod function, then great. But the older unit was NO WAY comparable to a decent double din that was significantly less.

As you mentioned, I did have the old version, so I can’t comment about the new improvements, and I can certainly see there being massive advantages to going to an android setup, but imo, I wouldn’t even dream of wasting my money on the unit it again. I felt extremely lucky to get most of my money back the first time and took it as a lesson learned!
