Coincidentally the exact same question was just asked over on AR. Looks like someone is looking for a fight. The Vortech has its own oil reserve correct? Does it have a different oil spec then the engine? I would imagine it does but if not was there a reason JHM didn’t combine the two into one oil pan? I feel like I remember it having something to do with location of the blower?

This is a non issue with the setup we are using because the units we use are self contained and the blower is constantly bathed in its own oil.

No not you. Talking about the JHM trolls on Audizine. They started a troll thread on that forum to make insinuations about JHM’s supercharger.
I’d say more and more people leave audizine from childish threads and trolls like that.
Nicky there are a handful of car owners that seem disrupted by the fact that the JHM supercharger units are close to 1/2 the cost of others. They’re constantly trying to justify why there’s such a large price difference when the performance appears to be the same.
All of the supercharger options come with a self-contained oil system. So if starting in cold weather is an issue for one it’s going to be an issue for all.
I’m not sure why I even posted on AZ. It’s silly at this point, one troll thread after another. If everyone focused on their own car, shared experiences (honestly), asked questions (honestly), shared opinions without getting crazy when someone has a different one etc it would be a much more sound forum. The troll accounts and lies and so on is a turn off. It makes reading the through the forum threads frustrating instead of informative. What a waste.
