Just ordered 18x9 Nuespeed wheels and JHM LW Rotors...

So my goal has been set…

Hoping for an 11.4@120 when the track opens, we will see what comes ;D

My 60-130 is over 1 second faster compared to what my old car ran and that car went (11.8@117.9) and i even went faster on this car 60-130 on straight 93 than my old car went on 104…

I guess time will tell :slight_smile:

My old tune on the b8.5 when i went to the track did 11.5 60-130 on MS109, the final tune from GIAC did 9.6 on C16…

Figuring i ran 12.1 on stock rotors and 51lb wheels, i’m thinking just the wheels are rotors should be good for .2 seconds and this new tune making more power should take care of the rest…

Do you have the test pipes on the B8.5? I know you did on the B8, but I am not sure what all you put on the B8.5… Either way, looking forward to see what you do. 11.4 may be a tad optimistic, but I think a 11.5 or 11.6 is doable. Good goal regardless.

what ever happened to your intercooler upgrade… did you do it to this car as well.

Don’t forget stock s4 is like 15.4 seconds right? Knocking 5 seconds off got you to high 11s from low 13 1/4 mile

I was thinking about 2 tenths as well, plus I have worked on my launch so I think I can cut a tenth there as well and if I can go in ideal conditions I was thinking another tenth there which is where I came up with 11.4… I could be totally off but at this point I really do think the car is capable. I guess we will see soon enough lol

Having goals is fine, even if you don’t reach them. hell if you fall a tenth and 2 mph short, you’re the fastest S4 in the world.

You’re also someone who has been to the strip and backed up the talk if you would. i.e. you say ‘I want to do this, run that’, and then go and try to do it as opposed to just keyboard race about what your car ‘woulda coulda shoulda’.

Then you have the guys like burningcoals who say that because his car did well in a 60-130 and was faster than a car that went 10.X in the 1/4 mile, he walks around saying that his car is a 10 second car when asked.

Auditude3.0T sounds like a great list of mods. Good to know there are no changes that would make the headers not work. I don’t know enough to know if that new list of mods will get you there but Im cheering for you.

primetime already has the 1740 blower on his B8 S4. Although mum is the word, he appears bursting at the seams wanting to share his good fortune.

^^ Actually, I’ve heard that the rumors about the 1740 not being available for the B8 are true, and that prime is beta testing APR’s new Stage III option. :slight_smile:

I heard a rumor he went with the double secret Stage III 1740 blower setup from AWE with a custom GIAC tune and plans to retire from the strip after doing a sub 10sec opening day.

but could just be hearsay.

Maybe he has APR’s DSG tune?
