From what I have seen, Forgestar won’t give you the exact specs you want either, nor do they tell you what they are going to give you. I have seen a ton of threads where people ask a poster what the specs are and their response is always “they won’t release that info”.
I sent them my caliper specs and they said it was a “No Go”.
ya I like them too but theyre 25.5 pounds. I think im gonna buy the forgelines. I have some time to mull it over but I think I will likely get them before spring.
5R clutch, PP,LWFW, trio, and stage 1 are now officially paid for and order is being processed.
Fuck yeah! Welcome to the club!!!
Holy shot Badtoyz…nice
Looked into MORR forged wheels? Claim 19x8.5 up to x11 weigh under 20 lbs. Some nice designs. Much like similar offerings from other companies but maybe worth price comparison.
lol thanks ya im grinning from ear to ear right now. dru said should take about a week to put my kit together and ship out.
ill look into those right now.
I emailed forgeline and he referred to me 2 of his partners in the GTA Pfaff and Braiden tire. he said braiden was more hands on so I emailed him and asked for pricing on the rims wrapped in the Michelin ss. im also gonna talk to him about offset. the stock offset is 29 and Im running a 10mm spacer essentially making the wheel a 19 offset I think. so if I ordr them in a 19 offset I should be able to run no spacers and still have the flushness I want.
if I have that backwards someone please correct me.
Offset is dependent on width of wheel
That. Yes if same width. Check out willtheyfit.com. good comparison tool. Plug in your specs and it will give you the dimension changes in/out/rolling diam/speedo etc…
19x9 5x112 et29 is oem. all I want to to do is subtract 10mm from the offset.
19x9 5x112 et19 is what im shooting for.
the more I think about how it will look with those rims in satin bronze with the h&r springs and my trim all blacked out with a weight savings of almost 12 pounds per corner vs my current setup the more I think this is a go.
You got it right then
Badtoyz, I am running the same set up you are after and I have no rubbing issues, and I think fitment is perfect.
19X9 et19 rear and et23 front
PSS 255/35/19
Lowered to 25.75" fender to ground and could probably go another 1/2 inch without a problem
Thank you. It is sprung weight though.
If I were to go to 19 inch wheels then I would get the OZ Superforgiata wheels in a polished look. They are basically lighter stock RS4 wheels. 19x9 ET29 that weigh 18.4 pounds. I would probably also use 275/30/R19 tires too but it is already hard enough to fit 265/35/18 tires under the fenders of a B6 S4.

why 23 in the front. Just to pull them in a touch so u get that fatter look at the back or will the 19 rub in the front
Jimmy those look Mint too.
Too bad they are $6,208 for a set of four.
The forgeline are too. But I really like them and I want that 12 pound savings per wheel. Plus adding the lightweight rotors I think it will be quite a noticeable difference.
I did 23 in the front because when they are square, the front sticks out further than the back. With the slight stagger, it looks more symmetric. Purely cosmetic, and it doesn’t adversely affect anything. In this shot you can see the symmetry. It is a bit deceiving though as the wheels don’t poke at all, just looks that way in the photo.
Anyway, 12 pounds per corner with those forgelines is a huge weight savings.
