Not willing to get new rimz…ha! That is gonna be a nice setup for sure. Happy shopping.
these weights you’re quoting…what size and offset is that?
that’s for our cars 19x9 5x112 and I didn’t decide on an offset yet. they have hese in super deep concave with a super wide range of offsets so I can get them nice and flush without spacers and have even more weight savings.
lol ya I really like those, thanks for the link to forgeline. mind has been changed.
In all fairness, I mentioned forgestar. You stepped it up a couple notches. Happy to help spend others money, ha!
sorry ya youre right. I did go through all the forgestar wheels too but all the ones I liked were 25.5lbs still.
those are the forgeline GA1Rs that mdubz pointed me towards. theyre expensive but I likem. I just emailed forgeline and asked to point me towards a Canadian dealer.
im not sure if I should go with the open lug or not for the extra 1lb saving.
I personally like look of both. Really comes down to if you can live with no center cap. But I bet you can diy some caps to save the pound
lol u know where my heads at.
+1 for open lugs
why cant u run a 18x9
Well I’m in a B6 S4 and technically yes I can run 18x9s but that’s pushing it close. After talking to JimmyBones, he steered me towards 18x8s over the 18x9s as he runs both. After talking to a number of sales reps from Forgeline, ADV, RSV, and BC Forged, 18x8.5 was the most recommended so I’m thinking that might be the sweet spot. Probably wouldn’t hurt to have some more tire on the road with all the power, but I’d still be worried about rubbing/figment issues, also the constant breaking of axles would suck too.
Badtoyz, those look pretty much the same as my klassens. You may want to do a price comparison, but it may just may come out the same. One thing klassen was willing to do was a staggered offset so the wheels look more symmetric front to back.
But are the weights of the Klassens that low? This thread is all about trimming the fat.
what are your klassens? ill research them.
I went to the klassen website but they don’t post the weights of any of there wheels. I think that’s really stupid actually all the rim manufacturers advertise that thy are light weight but they never tell u what the weight is.
What is the weight of forgestar f14 in a good rs4 size? George had those on his car back in 2011. Gunmetal. Looked great.

Klassens are m52
I unfortunately did not weigh them before installing. There were claims on some forums of them being bottom 20’s and they are 19x9.
I usually don’t believe weights that manufacturers claim.
Loved them, but their Super Deep Concave won’t clear the calipers Also, they have had some reported QC issues which led to cracking.

Super deep concave is too much man, the deep concave look great. Never go FULL CONCAVE…
I saw a few sets of brand new F14s on ebay with flawed finish (fisheye) for pretty much half prices. Not bad if you picked them up, refinished them and still saved something like $500.
They looked awesome on George’s car.
I haven’t seen any actually in person, so I had only photos as reference.
