Is it the 2300? Is jason:addict the same as jason@amd? If so you’re spying on yourself.
i bought a fairly expensive order from JHM, installed everything and i am having problems with the new parts
I guess “expensive order” is a relative term.
Front and rear rotors, hawk pads, oil change kit, brake fluid.
446$ + taxes give or take for the OEM brake disc and hawk pads and brake oil
80$ for the oil change kit
I doubt he was having problems with the oil change kit.
As for the rest of the “expensive” order, If i remember to replace the brakes on 4 corners its in or around 1200$ (CAD)
As for his problems
1 brake rotor, is not balanced, bent, or something along those lines. Front right makes a very loud thumping noise when braking. Put front right rotor on front left side…so flip flopped them, and now the noise is on the left side.
My money is on improper bedding. Hope we get to hear what finally went wrong.
its funny that its jhm’s fault lol
Not improper bleeding. It wouldn’t move over to the other side.
I’m betting he is having issues bedding them in. I think the JHM rotors arhat der than stock or something, because it takes a lot of work to get the completely bed in.
My money says a few more hard 70-5 stops fixes his issue
he bought OEM rotors not JHM
Who makes the OEM rotors JHM sells?
ohhh. I think they sell the legit OEM ones from Audi. Never seen them so I’m just guessing. Pretty sure Centric makes the OEM’s for Audi.
k So its not the same guys who make the LW rotors that also make an OE type for them then?
dude…oem means oem. .
OEM IS OEM … That being said people get a bit confused between the terms OEM and OEM fitment and how to differentiate between the 2.
In case you forgot OEM means Originial Equipment Manufacturer.
Do JHM “OEM” rotors come from an actual dealership or the company that makes the rotors for audi? If yes they are OEM
If not they are “OEM FITMENT” meaning they are made according to OEM specs, but are not actually OEM.
OEM fitment disc’s might be made to the exact same size, but not the same materials or compound. These possible “OEM fitments” might be harder to bed in then normal disc’s.
they are not made by the same company that makes their lw rotors. More clear?
thanks for telling me what oem means. Next tell me what am and pm mean.
looks like the quattrofailers got together and planned a little anti jhm/pro AMD mini assault on audizine lol. Smoothe guys…nobody can tell your motives!
lol. Nobody respond to the thread! Just let it die
I’m not gunna lie, I haven’t seen a group of people talk so much shit than the ones on here. it’s pretty crazy to be honest!
you mad brah?
