This type of attitude doesn’t make me laugh, it just burns me up.

i can agree. for example:

Driver drives a 2010 S5 on H/R Coilovers with Avant Garde wheels that he has to put back to stock because a spring or something broke:
had you spent money on some performance mods like an CB exhaust, downpipes, spacers, IM and ecu tune…stock ride height wouldn’t be so bad [:p]

Car is way too fat and slow to get anything out of the performance mod…

um, too fat and slow for performance mods; really? Ya, it might not blow the doors off a 335i or walk a CTS-V coupe or even out-track an E92 M3 with a few bolt ons but stating “too fat and slow for performance mods” is a little ignorant.

JHM has the mods to make it a head turner in the performance arena
APR has the kit to make 1/4mi numbers

lol, new shop on AZ decided to do an S6 build and disassembled the motor and ‘cleaned up the bores’…

i’m not a tech/gearhead but isn’t that a BIG no no?

Big no no. This is more shops knowing nothing doing no research and just charging customers

Wow

After Dennis Silva posted he was very happy with his jhm kit Fat Bearded Tomatoes had to troll, along with Baby Huey.

They don’t think it looks oem enough

Ok. Let’s see a stock RS4 engine bay…

Now let’s see a JHM supercharged engine bay…

http://i375.photobucket.com/albums/oo193/sakimano/Screenshot_2013-12-18-23-54-14-1_zps87b3f619.png

Hmm… Looks pretty stock to me personally. What would I know though.

Fatso said “this is concerning” that the jhm kit doesn’t use the stock maf hose. LOL he can’t be this dumb can he?

Fat Bearded Tomatoes had an APR supercharger. That must be really stock looking. Let’s have a look…

WHOA!!! Your magnesium OEM RS4 manifold went missing buddy! I’m very concerned!

http://i375.photobucket.com/albums/oo193/sakimano/Screenshot_2013-12-18-23-52-07_zpsf19e8f3d.png

If jhm doesn’t look OEM enough… I can’t imagine what this looks.

Only possible explanation for Fatso saying that is that he hasn’t looked under the hood since buying his $20,000 APR kit.

Or these guys have shit where they’re supposed to have brains.

ROFL @ the “fat bearded” ! Spot on Saki

Haha Saki! The guy puts up ridiculous points, I bring up everyone and he magically disappears. What ducting through the rain tray was he trying to point out? I was so confused by that?

Nvm modified ac line

He never did reply to my post about why relocating the MAF is “concerning”.

As for the ac line, isn’t it just a different hose to reroute it but going into the same hole? I have no clue what he means about “cutting the rain tray”…
