For some people, it seems like letting someone drive your car is as hard, if not harder to accept then finding out someone fucked your wife!
I wouldn’t let someone drive my car at an event like that (unless they were an RS4 owner…and even then).
Not because I’m a fag who doesn’t want people driving my car…but just because the RS4 clutch is weird and people seem to burn them out with alarming regularity as a result.

My old lady is one of the best stick drivers i have seen. Not race best… Just “finds friction point properly, doesnt over rev, doesnt money shift” good.
Seems like basics but this is a cut above what most non AR RS4 owners are capable of.
it’s true man, however it seems the RS4 is extra finnicky which doesn’t make sense, but the stats show. Some guys go 50,000 miles+ on stock clutch…while you see dozens of forum guys getting new clutches at 15-25,000 miles.
Go watch RS4 quarter mile vids or races on youtube. They all take about 2 seconds to shift…then slip the clutch into the next gear, and you can hear it slip revs. It’s awful thinking of the damage.
I swear they’d all run 12.75 stock if they weren’t slipped into every gear and launched without stalling at the tree . Yes, stalling. One RS4 owner talked about actually stalling at the line at the dragstrip when he tried to launch…can you imagine the domestic guys and the crowd laughing at that one?
Oh…and this was multiple stalls on multiple trips to the strip lol (check the dates). Courtesy of quattrofail, of course. Names have been changed to protect the guilty.

As much as i HATE car manufacturers shying away from manual transmissions with most highend cars,
QW is a great example as to why they really have no choice! Wannabe racecar drivers who can afford to buy high end cars, but cant drive them. They go race these cars, blow engines, transmissions… you name it, then show up at the dealer claiming they were driving miss Daisy and it broke.
Do people really think they are fooling the manufacturers? SMG / DSG’s almost seem like an extra wat the builders can protect their products and WALLETS from retards who cant drive then try to defraud the companies making it seem like a faulty product.
