He thinks his APR tune/pulley + milltek exhaust B8 S4 is 400+whp and will run 11s easily, matching primetime.
He thinks that because he went to Skip Barber twice, he is a great driver who can match primetime’s skill at the dragstrip
He thinks that primetime’s 48 lbs of rotating mass reduced (wheels/rotors) will be offset by pulling his 40 lb spare out of the trunk
He thinks that a modded M3 is no match for his modded B8 S4 (even though a bolt on M3 went 11s and a supercharged M3 went 10.6 @ 129)
He thinks that primetime’s high flow cats+custom intake+APR cooling system will do nothing

that’s a great thread. It’s like a bunch of 16 year old kids own B8 S4s and think you can’t make power without forced induction because they are used to buying old small turbo cars and have a modest mods budget and can only afford a tune.

stock B7 RS4 best 1/4 mile = 12.75

I don’t get this fascination with forced induction from people who own $60,000 cars. Are they really this closed minded and ignorant to not know that the M3/C63/RS4…all NA cars… are all responding to modifications just as well or in fact BETTER than ANY B8 S4? C63s are running 10s with bolt ons. M3s are running 11s with bolt ons. An RS4 with NO TUNE just ran 12.2 with a couple of bolt ons. What planet are these retards on that they don’t know what other performance cars are doing?

Lol…ya man I saw all the B8 S4 v RS4 chit chat, and I am just bullshitting about a B8. I want to take my B7 as far as it will go before I get into anything else. I am just afraid the B6/B7 crowd will in time become like the B5 crowd especially with an influx of younger guys.

Funny. Remind them of some facts:

stock RS4 record is 12.75 on pump gas
with a few bolt ons on pump gas the car has run 12.28
with a few bolt ons, NO TUNE, and 100 oct the RS4 has run 12.26
with a mild supercharger from APR the car has run 11.8 on pump gas
with the TTS supercharger, the car has run 11.4 @ 125 on pump gas

That TTS SC car was full weight, pump gas (no meth, no race, no b.s.). That is better than ANY B5 S4 on pump gas. And that car ‘only’ made 500 whp…while the stock motor has capacity to be pushed to 600 whp.

Not that slow when you think about it.
