Ben doesn’t have stage 3…he has stage 4 (which he killed last month after 50,000 miles, dozens of track days and general BenSTlie abuse)
Ben doesn’t hvae an APR supercharger.
Ben is planning to get an AMD supercharger, and trying to be buddy buddy with the AMD guys. That whole thing with him ‘helping’ meem install his APR kit was really an opportunity for Ben to get his hands on an APR supercharger and to report information to AMD.
Nobody noticed that it was weird that jonathan @ AMD had the dimensions of the APR intercoolering on the APR 1740 kit? You should have. Where’d he get that information? Ben STlie. Ben tore apart meem’s kit and rabbited through, sending the information over to AMD immediately. All the while he was posting online and in private message chats that the APR kit is GARBAGE . Funniest part was that Ben the retard ordered a set of injectors for meem to freshen them up while they were in there. In an effort to save a couple hundred bucks for a guy who just paid $35,000 on mods for his RS4 I will remind you, Ben bought the wrong injectors. As a result the car was fuel starved at high RPMs and was falling on its face. Ben explained to his private discussion groups that the kit is garbage. No Ben, the installer is garbage.
We all knew something was up when, out of the blue, a B5 S4 owner started a thread on Audizine about ‘B7 Rs4 supercharging facts’. TwitS4estate is starting a thread about RS4 supercharging, and just wants to get some facts out there? That makes no sense, so clearly he is a puppet, and AMD is pulling his strings (again).
We saw twit try to take shots at JHM discussing the efficiency of a Vortech V3 Si (lol he’s choosing his battles poorly). He was attempting to say the roots TVS units are just as efficient as the unit JHM chose. Sure buddy.
Next twit moved on to APR…suddenly he REEEEALLY wanted to talk about intercooling. Imagine that? Suddenly an AMD rep (let’s call a spade a spade) is talking intercooling, somewhat out of the blue also. And was ADAMANTLY trying to steer the thread in that direction. Why?
Because when Ben tore apart meem’s kit, and took a load of measurements on the APR intercooling, he immediately sen thte information over to Jon and Jason @ AMD. They thought that the AMD intercooling 2was bigger (much bigger) than the APR kit. Arin later corrected them, and informed them that the APR intercooling cores were actually bigger than AMD. So that backfired.
Anyway, just tought that was interesting. Looking forward to ben showing up in an AMD kit.

Ben asked me through PM about my Wavetrac front LSD. So I asked about his clutch and if he was going to get the 5R from JHM. This is his response:
As for the clutch, plan was to go with a 5R, but Jason at AMD offered to send me their version of a 5R for free, so I really can’t say no to that. Apparently it is a equivalent compound to the 5R, but they use a changed fulcrum to get an identical petal feel with a stiffer pressure plate.
It must be part of the deal for Ben to start bashing APR and continue bashing JHM. Plus reporting back to AMD any information that he can get about the SC kits.

Yup exactly.
Wait for the raves about how great the AMD shit is. And the continued bashing of their competitors.
Also good to see he is concerned about ‘petal feel’

That is gold Jimmy. The idiots don’t believe that there are always malicious intentions with these guys, but when someone gives you something for FREE, your kind of in their pocket.

That’s cute. So he is going to test it for them? How does he know it is the same compound? That is proprietary information. So they either based it off of the product picture “Oh well it looks the same” or it was purchased for it to be examined. Even if it was the same compound, since they are talking about modifying the fulcrum sounds like they are still using the RS4 pressure plate. From all of our testing, the RS4 pressure plate cannot hold up to a SC’d RS4. Or at least a JHM or APR supercharged RS4.

You mean the clutch that didn’t exsist right? Remember a while ago how JHM ridiculed me for saying that the B7 RS4 PP could have the clamp load increased from stock clamp, which was months before the 5R clutch was promoted on Kevin’s car in the “JHM’s B7 RS4 kit” video?? I have texts from Kurt saying how upset you guys were for me saying it was possible.
Just do some searching for that stuff on the zine.
Next order of business,
If a company was proficient at designing and had an Engineering background. They would know how to increase load and not pedal feel, and not in a hack way as other companies have.
Then JHM told me that I lied. Well, I wasn’t, and the fact that you even said this shows that the JHM camp directly represents their fanboy base and the lies the fanboys push.
How about the facts
1.YOUR RS4 PP kit (Stage 4) is stock clamp load 2800ish Lbs.
2.The AMD clamp load is 3200lbs. Which is as much as many twin disk setups.
3.The materials range from stage 1 to stage 4, organic to cera-matallic and many options in between.
4.The clutch has been in existence since 2012.
5.The clutches have years of testing, stage 4 has had over 600WFTLBs (mustang dyno, so 034s new numbers) on a 3.0L B5 S4 and its daily driven for over a year! That car is local and gets checked out frequently.
Glad I could clear that up.
This is the same old internet bullying your fanboys do.

AMD kit doesn’t make enough torque lol
Why are you even able to post? God needs to fix that karma system, damn.
As for Jake’s post, how is he bullying you? Also, how is ANYTHING you said related to anything he said? All he said was that it’s pretty absurd for one company to claim they are doing the same thing as another when company A doesn’t have their competitor’s part. I mean they could buy it and do some ‘reverse engineering’ but we all know AMD doesn’t have enough money to buy a fucking B5 S4, so they’re hardly going to be out there buying competitor’s $2000 clutch kits to test.
p.s. sorry to blow your cover tweets. Good to know the J&J club pulls your strings and uses you, while you pour money at them for your perrennially busted car.
The existing stock side mount radiator ( 74 in ^2 )
and the additional front mount heat exchanger 21x11x1.5 ( 231 in^2 )
which comes out to being 305 in^2 of cooling power.
a similar sized TVS to a centrifugal wins in low end torque in any scenario sorry boys, ask any other platform.
