A stage 2 b67 s4 will ass rape any b5 on earth on pump gas. The b5 ass will be so stretched out it will need a thousand spools of thread to stitch it back together. The times JHM ran in their stage 2 S4 on 91 2 years ago are faster than any B5 has ever run on pump gas.

There are like 10 rs4s with 4 different supercharger kits that have run faster on pump than any b5 s4 has ever dreamed of running on pump.

none of the b5 guys trolling in that thread have run anywhere near the fastest pump gas B67 S4 or RS4 time, and the B5 trolls are ALL running race gas and meth and whatever else they can do to conjure up a glory run of 11.89. All before filling up with 93 the next day and transforming, like a werewolf, into a mid 12 second car.
It’s pretty simple. If you want a 15 year old car that can run mid to low 12s @ 110-113 on pump gas if the stars align , buy a b5 s4 for $2900 and spend thousands more going stage 3, and maybe buy a tow truck . Tuning, fuelling, intercooler, exhaust, downpipes and k04 turbos on a b5 means you MIGHT get into the mid to low 12s but will likely just barely break into the 12s. Or will more likely, just break. And call a tow.
All this dreaming about Jaybquicks b5 k04 time is just that. Dreaming. They all seem to forget that the guy who tuned jaybquicks car tunes 4.2s now. NOBODY of any tuning stature tunes the 2.7t anymore. It has been abandoned, so they’re all trying to self tune. And are all slower than the platform was 5 years ago. To a b5 guy, epl is a tuning God. Why? Because they can give you a smooth idle and no epc warnings. Never mind that they’re slow as shit lol.
Jay had everything thrown at that car, in great conditions around Christmas, on c16 and he had an unlimited budget for mods and parts… And the knowhow and tuning to get it done.
The rest of these 2.7t (cl)owners? They’re running China k04 replicas, stock fuelling, Chinese exhaust and dps that don’t fit, some homebrew bullshit tune that someone stole from Apr and posted on ******** and tweaked with 2 step because these guys can’t drive. They’re not even getting out of the 13s, let alone running 11.1.
Monty is in there trolling hard and he has had like 3 turbo versions of his setup, likely a couple dozen passes, half a dozen tunes (this year) and a modlist as long as the list of B5s at the junkyard, and what’s his best time running octane and alcohol? Oh…basic entry level supercharger kit type stuff.
