What kind of engineer is this guy? the kind that drives a fucking train I hope.

Yeah, I think you’re right. It all started with flying tomatoes saying the supercharger makes his car more fuel efficient. That in itself is funny. What he’s likely experiencing is improved volumetric efficiency from full exhaust, as well as a leaner tune than stock. Simple…the tune requests less fuel thanks to a leaner AFR, and makes power. It has nothing to do with the supercharger. The supercharger if anything will hurt. It’s a parasitic power adder that the engine drives.

Then badblue joined in with this condusing statement:

The motor is exerting less work? huh? The supercharger just forces more air into the engine. It doesn’t do any work. It is also parasitic in that it is driven by a pulley that is attached to the engine’s serp belt loop.

Then he said the turbos are ‘less parasitic’. Did he mean to say 100% less? because the turbo uses exhaust gas, and isn’t being driven by the engine.

All around the more that crew talks, the more they show the world how much they don’t know.

Are you guys sure that those “engineers” “getting laid all the time” are not just westwest? I mean he does have at least 2 different user nicks that I know of…I’m sure that there are more…

Lol, no they are definitely real life people. One is a guy from GA who bought his RS4 from CARMAX and is a roadrace superstar with sweet racing shoes. The other is from Eastern PA and is now the APR poster boy. He has been randomly making up calims about JHM for years for some weird reason. I’m not even sure if they posess “true” engineering degrees, I just know I’ve seen them mention it. All I do know is that by judging by their posts and pretty simple knowledge about cars I really hope they aren’t designing anything mechanical…hopefully they are enviornmental engineers or something. I mean…that would suck for sea turtles or anything else relying on their ecosystem, but at least we would be safe.

seems anyone who buys a ‘groundbreaking’ eurocode product goes into a gopher hole after the purchase to avoid the spotlight that comes with it, in the form of forums requesting performance data. Sad. A couple guys here tested the headers and posted their results (auditude anyway) without the emotional attachment to them…but really the pattern is the same as the PES supercharged cars in the 4.2 world. Buy, proclaim greatness, avoid facts, then emotionally defend the part and ignore rational discussion or test results…then quietly sell car prematurely.
