I’m sorry but this mentality that it’s fun and cool to add more crap into the air is just plain moronic. I would have absolutely no qualms if these people simply dropped dead. They’re not the only ones living on this planet. Their actual overall impact is probably negligible in the grand scheme of things (what’s a few thousand pick-up trucks compared to the massive industrial pollution around the world) but it’s the mentality I abhor.
The entire “Yeah! Fuck the environment! Who needs clean air to breathe! And fuck everyone else as well! I’m the only one that matters on this planet!” mentality irks me to no end.

It seems Americans don’t care as much about what they can do until someone tells them what they can’t. Then they really love to do that particular thing.
That’s what that article said to me.
Here’s the thing though. That lack of sophistication is also what permits politicians and fake news media to convince them that it’s perfectly ok to pollute the environment, that the “communist dictator” president is out to get them and that they should continue to fight the “good fight”. They don’t see they’re simply being manipulated and used by big corporations for financial gain.
I’m not saying the left are saints and that they have all the answers. Nor am I saying that all right wing views are BS. I’m just saying that the uneducated population is being lied to and they don’t see it. So they go on social media and around their towns, repeating the lies the lies that were fed to them, thus propagating them to a whole new level.
This has existed ever since politics were created thousands of years ago but with technology nowadays, it’s getting out of hand. A few individuals are creating chaos, tearing their own country up, etc. just for their own gains, and many poor folks aren’t seeing it. So sad…

I fully respect The People keeping their government in check. But only if it’s based on truth and facts, not lies and not at the expense of the environment we all have to share.
