I was just trying to get him to list his MANY magazines. He was very hypocritical in criticizing people for posting their opinions, yet posted his own in saying MANY magazines prefer S5s over RS5s. Either list the MANY references or its not factual. I guess his opinion that one magazine counts as many. I wasn’t trying to get off on any tangent.

  1. RS4 performance is comparable to the B8 S4 with bolt on mods. There are 4 RS4s that have run 12.2 with bolt ons and pump gas. There are 9 B8 S4s who have done so. We have 4 times as many B8 S4 quarter mile times as we do RS4 times in our list. As you can see, the achievments are very similar. Trap speeds for the B8 S4 with a full modlist can be as high as 115-116 MPH. The RS4 so far has been 113-114 MPH. These are not that different, yet people are calling the RS4 ‘unmodable’ and ‘obviously slower’. That’s funny.

  2. RS4 performance murders the B8 S4 with supercharger modifications. It’s not even worth comparing. We’re talking about multiple many buslengths in a 1/4 mile run…and about 10 buslengths in a highway pull from 60-150 MPH.

  3. Don’t like straight line stuff? Want to talk about the B8 S4 ‘sport differential’? Are you fucking kidding? The B7 RS4 on a track is an incredible performer. Let’s not forget that in history, only 4-5 4 door sedans have put up 7minute Nurburgring lap times. The B7 RS4 was the first sedan to do so. Then the Cadillac CTSv (with a 150 hp advantage). Then the Panamera Turbo S (with a 150 hp advantage). Then the M3 and E63 S (with a 160hp advantage).

Do people know what the B8 S4 did? Oh…8 something. Why? because it’s worse at going around a track quickly. Simple.

The straight line performance ignorance in that thread is one thing…but the lack of understanding of what a track weapon the RS4 is is astounding.
