I think if that kit went about halfway as low as it does (if that makes sense) it might look OK. Looks ridiculous though.
Hahahhaha that last part is epic! Owned! Another win for the truth.
Also clearly some people chose to ignore APR tune issues multiple cars experienced. Ie intermittent idle and stalling. Which is supposedly has been fixed with an updated APR tune that has very recently been released. Only time will show…
Where were you guys in the great debate on the AZ B5/S4 forum???
You were arguing with 18yr olds that wouldn’t last 2 days on AR. Most can barely check their tire pressure and would add nothing to this site besides ignorance. Let them think whatever they want about AR, the guys who don’t post here and are afraid to join are missing out. At the end of the day this site doesn’t revolve around any certain company, it revolves around a group of knowledgeable members that have great technical discussion, a ton of information and first hand experience, people that will bend over backwards to help complete strangers from all over the world work out their issues, it’s controlled by the members almost completely, and vendors have no authority to have threads or posts deleted to hide evidence. If you can sit and say you hate this site or the members, then you aren’t interested in being a true enthusiasts and you don’t like being told the truth…that is what scares people about AR. B5 guys especially, because we call them out on their hack tunes, shitty China parts and their never ending stage whatever MINUS setups. They try to build monsters, while neglecting maintenance and simple upgrades…we tell them that and they hate us. That platform has gone backwards but they still want to discuss how great it is and easy to make fast.
I think some of that is starting to rub off on B6/7s :

The dope sticker in the window is telling…
WTF happened to that?
Thank Rings I didn’t click on that link :-X
Oh wow…I’m glad I didn’t look in that thread.
Who does shit like that?
Its super painful.
I’m not sure if I wanted to laugh or cry when I first saw the contents of that thread, but then all of the sudden this new feeling came on to me:

The worst part is when these guys start justifying it by saying “it’s different than the norm” “thinking outside of the box” “pushing the limits”
No it looks fucking ridiculous and ruins a great looking car.

“JHM rotors cause vibration”, until a brake expert joins the discussion and immediately from a few pics is able to rule out the rotors as root cause of vibration on Corbett’s car.

Same shit, different day with Corbitch. I ran JHM LW front rotors for 17k miles on my B7 S4. I followed the bedding directions and never had any issues. I think maybe one I had to re bed them or knock down some of the build up and then they were fine again.
If you’d like a good read, go to his RS6 build thread right on this very site. Look how happy he is with Kurt and JHM…he says to say HI and gives them shout outs. He discusses how altered the car is, his many maintenance concerns, he traps higher than any other RS6 on his first trip to the track on a CV base tune. He brags about his FATS and other BS. Then he tries the E85 conversion…which was stupid to begin with. He pays someone to build the fuel system, which is apparently built wrong the first time or the guy used inadequate hardware.
This whole blame someone because the hurt my motor is bullshit.
I wonder how his new B5S4 is running…lulz
that was some classic Corbett
throws some shit talk about his JHM rotors out - gets shown by someone with a clue that the rotors were fine and that his pads caused the issue…then he deflects and stops addressing facts
throws some shit talk about his E85 shit out - gets shown by someone that his comments about his terrible rotors make no sense if he’s then willing to let the same company tune his car, so he gets asked about his timeline…then he deflects and stops addressing facts
“I put thousands of miles on the rotors”
so the rotors were terrible…yet you then allowed the company that can’t get rotors right to tune the engine? That doesn’t make sense…so maybe he had the engine problems first and then bought the rotors…does that mean he put thousands of miles on the rotors with a bad engine? that doesn’t make sense either.
Guy is a mess.
Corbett in a nutshell - loves you if you’re helping him, but he’s a weak insecure individual. He is very easily swayed, so when someone like pretty-dancer gets in his ear that JHM is evil (which he does to help AMD while they hold his cars hostage) he turns very quickly.
I would like to see him engage Kurt in a discussion, here on AR, in the war room, about his E85 tuning. He keeps talking about a rich AFR for E85 not being ideal etc…well, engage someone in the discussion but quit throwing jabs around like a little bitch and then running away from the facts. If you have someone tuning your car, and you’re changing hardware, and changing directions like a mongoose who just ate a ghost pepper, it’s hard for anyone to help you. He is the Skywagon of the B5/C5 world. MAYBE I’LL TRY THIS! NOW I WILL TRY THAT! The guy’s car was the highest trapping RS6 in the world according to him…so he decided that rather than dial it in and run 11.3 @ 125 he instead tore it apart and went E85??? WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU?

It would be interesting to see…
It’s comical that he is so knowledgeable now…the same guy that couldn’t perform a compression and leak down test on the motor correctly…to the point he has no clue if the engine was hurt. He also couldn’t install a catch can correctly and probably chased boost leaks for weeks.
Someone should go to his thread and count how many times he mentions CV “neutering” his car to keep it safe.
I wonder how long AMD will have his car? Should we pick days, months, or years. It’s sad that twits drug him into that… misery love company, right?
