It’s very weird when people lie to complete strangers on the internet that they will never meet.
Yes it is but I imagine they are just like people in real life who lie. The Internet just makes it easier to do.

Last time I checked, people with those 3 cars…don’t drive this car.
2011 Brilliant Black B8 A4 2.0T- Premium Plus–6MT// ECS// STaSIS// Hawk// P3 Cars// K&N// Porsche Injectors// Red R8 Coil Pack//
I have an Rs4, and a B8 A4 2.0T like his, but with a big trunk for my dog. I can’t think of anything less interesting than modding the A4 with a boatload of shit like ‘red coil packs’ etc. I will mod the Rs4. The A4 is the hauler, and I don’t care how it looks/runs. He’s obviously a young kid whose dad bought him an A4, and he pretends his dad’s cars are his cars. because he lives at home.
If you owned a 991 C4S you would NEVER bother to change the coil packs on your 210 hp econo hauler. Trust me lol.
Yeah, what you guys are saying makes sense. And guys with those three cars don’t usually come on a forum whining about the depreciation on their A4.
I hate the “what’s my car worth?” posts. They are always by some idiot who has been told 20 times already exactly what his car is worth, but doesnt want to accept it. And then of course, when you tell them what their car is worth, they still dont want to accept it and often start pouting and arguing.
Especially when they have mods, they think someone is going to jump in and say 'Dude! You car is so awesome! Ill give you a bazillion bucks for it, CASH!!!" It never happens that way. They should just post in the classifieds like everyone else.
Just a pet peeve of mine I guess
He’s a young guy. He lives with his parents. His name is Harrison. He likes 4wheel ATVs. His youtube channel is muddblasterxt
there’s a short vid of a GT3 on there but the description is comical. He says ‘my gt3’ about 7 times. trying a bit hard I thinks.
Here’s a video of him fucking around on an ATV and looking at a dead deer and flashing gang signs for the camera. This is not an adult. this is a high school student.

LOL Do you have a file on everyone on the Internet? Actually, forget I asked LOL I dont want to know.
When I was in high school I drove a 1982 Chevy Malibu with something like 400k km on it. It had originally been a police car, then it was a taxi, then it was the runabout car for the cab company. It was converted to run on propane, so it smelled like sour cabbage. And the car was blue on blue, except for the rear bench seat that had been swapped with a maroon vinyl piece. It was also pretty beat up.
But damn! I was just happy not to be taking public transit. And the cool thing was the car never really depreciated much during my ownership of a couple years.

This Classified listing is hilarious!
Dealer misdiagnosis results in the guy having an extra transmission for sale. The kicker is the actual root cause!
Yeah, I felt bad for Dave.
Haha, funny. I didn’t care enough to dig. I noticed in one of his posts he says he has had a relationship with a dealer for 18years…so since he was born I guess…
I have cousins that a very wealthy…they are all idiots to and get in trouble constantly. Long story short I was home for my grandfather’s 80th birthday and my cousin(women), who is my dad’s age and has some money struck up a conversation about my new F150 she saw us get out of at the party. I mentioned that I just bought it, it was brand new and we really liked it so far. She says “yeah it’s nice, we just bought Travis (my 16 old cousin) a brand new F150 for his birthday. He wanted the Raptor, I think that is what it’s called, so he could take it off-road.” I just laughed but in my head I’m thinking…you just bought a young idiot kid a $70k truck to play with in the woods.
Regardless of how much money you have at your disposal, why do some wealthy people neglect to teach their kids the value of a dollar.
That is crazy, and definitely not funny for the guy.
Doesn’t the dealership have to stand behind its recommendations? You would think they would be on the hook for something, after making such a huge error.
Ouch. He may have sourced the used transmission himself… leaving him on the hook.
Must have been
I couldnt believe this thread LMAO. Euro you hit on the head, i just had to add.

Only if they end up doing the work.
Also a lot of the time there is a miscommunication between the service adviser and the tech when giving recommendations. For instance a tech would say to start by asking for diagnosis time for A, then move to replacing B or C, and then finally replace D if all else fails.
Hahahha funny stuff
Yeah, interesting.
Depreciation plus the cost of aftermarket parts costs the guy about $20k USD for one years ownership of a B8 A4

People keep going on and on about the maintenance of the C6 S6 or other older Audis. They don’t realize that the biggest loss on newer cars usually comes from depreciation.
An eight year old Audi may cost more to maintain than a newer model, but most of them have hit pretty close to rock bottom on their pricing.
^ I never cease to be amazed at people’s lack of financial skills.
People bitch about a $300 repair bill, but don’t blink at being upside-down on a car that they financed 100%. Don’t even get me started on time-value of money.
I worked with a lady who bought a new car because she didn’t know how to shop for tires.
That kid is an idiot, why would he even be bitching? Take a look at his imaginary garage

Exactly. When I bought my RS4, vs keeping my S4, I did a nerdy spreadsheet. I included maintenance, modifications, etc…but I also included depreciation. I always do that when making a purchase. One of the reasons I went with the Rs4 was because I felt it wouldn’t depreciate much compared to other similarly priced cars. For perspective, after 4 years, my RS4 has depreciated about $14,000. aka $300 a month. aka a new Civic 4 year lease rate.
