lulz on other forums (current, not classics)

He’ll just change it to “World’s fastest privately owned and operated Misano Red RS4 on bags with ADV wheels and stretched tires.”

there are legions of people too stupid to understand how he’s playing games with them

I like how he’s asking JHM have been testing their kit for 2 years. How about they’re fucking thorough? And how about unlike the company FT works for (APR) JHM found big heat and big power was hurting the motors and decided to take their time and do more testing to determine the best way to release their kit.

What does APR do? They release the product and cross their fingers. There are 4 people with fried piston rings and blown engines so far with the APR kit, one of which blew two motors during testing.

Most interesting is APR promised great 1/4 mile times and 500 whp…but the customers who dyno’d privately are seeing more like 450 whp, and are running far worse 1/4 mile times.

Best recent example of how not to release a product is APR’s recent release of the transmission control unit tune on the B8 S4. Here’s their ‘succesful’ beta car running the 1/4 mile…

Doesn’t look so succesful to me. They’re pushing the product out though. Nevermind the fact that customers who have that experience in the video above will have to go back to their dealer, and likely have to pay the dealer labour AGAIN to get the revised version (if they can figure it out).

So Dennis started a similar 1/4 mile video thread on AZ as here. Of course, FT couldn’t resist adding his underhanded comments.

Jake’s reply is priceless.

And then again, of course, FT goes on about how he had absolutely no idea this was in the works, and then uses the de facto Fox News strategy by asking if there’s been issues “and if so, have they been resolved”.

Is anyone still falling for FT’s crap at this point??

http://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php/651565-Post-a-video-of-your-car-doing-a-1-4-mile-time-or-any-kind-video!

I want to add a post saying “uh oh, looks like FT will have to update his signature regarding his claim” but I’ve been making an effort to stay out of the RS4 section on AZ.

^^ That is true lulz haha

lol. I wonder if there’s a noticeable difference between Northern and Southern California

talk about a blast from the past (shomegrown)

funny that nobody gave a shit about his B5 dyno number (which was the only reason he posted that thread)

the RS4 guy also went to the dragstrip. I can only assume that shomegrown went too…wonder if he ran 12.4 @ 114. He has never posted a 1/4 mile time to my knowledge. I’m sure he’d hate to run something that would embarrass the B5. I reckon on pump his super B5 would not even be able to match Mistro’s NA RS4 record of 12.21 @ 113.5

[QUOTE=WCCoffey]Where is the jerk of smiley when you need one.

A. Headers doesn’t equal loud. The mufflers, resonator, and cat are what cause it to be loud.

B. Seeing as how I bought the exhaust used, this need not apply.

C. Obviously.

This post is not “complaining” about the noise, it’s intent is too see if anyone that had the resonated setup wanted the straight pipe setup and a little cash in their pocket.

To be blunt, it’s not even the fact it’s loud. It’s the fact it sounds like a shitty raspy V6 mustang that you’d see a cholo driving. I didn’t want to say that because that wouldn’t work in my favor when trying to trade someone.

The tiny V8 in this car sounds like shit with a free flowing exhaust. That may be partly because of the muffler design, but what ever.

Guess I gotta go buy resonators now because this thread is obviously wrecked. Lol

Hahaahhahaha yet another meltdown on AZ. One of these top shots of facebook trolling Dante aka Audi2.7what http://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php/646183-2004-B6-Audi-S4 what a fucking little disrespectful lying brat. I swear kids these days don’t get enough if any of the good old ass whooping, sigh.

That thread was hilarious
