lulz on other forums (current, not classics)

Fucking clowns…people like that can just have fun in their slow fucking cars (by slow I mean because most of them can’t even drive them)…with sweet dyno sheets. I can’t believe the idiots on AZ that want to see JHM HP/TQ #s and dynographs. When every fucking NA car in the 12s is JHM tuned, it’s almost exactly the opposite of the B5 forum where everyone loves getting on a dyno, but make every excuse to dodge the 1/4mile.

Its true…it is the exact opposite lol

Never thought of that.

ROFL at the sea manatee! ^

[QUOTE=sciblades;8111796]if you really want a blower on your car call up RAI, they make alot of na cars have boost. call up and ask to speak with ray, tell him what you want to do RAI was the first person to put a blower on the v8 and does alot of sick work

Vomit

If that guy would actually talk to Ray at RAI then he would know that Ray regrets using the M90 garbage supercharger that is on that car. He told me that he should have used either a centrifugal supercharger or twin turbos.

OP wants some advice before going to his first track day. Reasonable question, there’s a similar one regarding the dragstrip on here.

Someone suggests a breaker bar. gibsonl considers himself a driving god (he wanted four figure sum bets to race him) yet does not know what a breaker bar is.

Even if you didn’t, you would just use a search engine right?!? Here’s is what a 0.5s search got me:

He finally admits the truth.

I mentioned it somewhere earlier…he has just been introduced to this and pretends he is an expert. He loves to throw in HPDE lingo when he learns it. Today it was ‘threshold breaking’. I love how he went to a track day in his RS4 on all seasons. Wtf!!!

Interestingly, badblurs4/jabroni was asking about track days and stock clutch. A few guys said anyone ruining clutches at the track you need to work on your shitty driving. Jabroni mentioned he knows someone who can’t drive who ruined clutches (plural) at the track.

Guess who lol.

Speaking of gibby…this was weird.

First he says it is for a friend…then he seemed to slip that he us asking for himself “I don’t want to fly up there”.

Maybe he is selling his RS4 and the Lexus boards will have to deal with him…we can only
hope that he takes jabroni with him.

i was considering an ISF…

makes me want to scratch it off the list now LOL.

(not really considering one though)

Well since he is a road race superstar, unfortunately his friends may also think he actually knows shit about cars and one may have asked his opinion or if he could come check one out. We can all only hope that he will leave the RS4 community, but hopefully his friend doesn’t let him drive it he could probably screw up the tranny in it even though it’s automatic. I think it is funny that even his own “friends” over there know he can’t drive.

Why would he give up his RS4 (the GT3 eater) for an LS F if he loves the track so much…lol

Good car the IS-f

Unfortunately is apparentlydeplorable in snow

I had to add this since were on the subject of gibby’s awesomeness and all knowing car skills…

http://forums.quattroworld.com/rs4b7/msgs/90638.phtml

…so he can spout of track lingo…give road race pointers…drag strip pointers…offer up thousands of dollars for betting, but he doesn’t know what a fucking breaker bar is??

…and the guy next post says “it’s a torque wrench for really big bolts”…lol no it’s a fucking breaker bar basically to break loose tight bolts. These guys over on QF are going to hurt themselves with all of these technical terms.

I am amazed sometimes at the fools that want to play “Car enthusiast” whenever they get the chance, but don’t know how to complete simple maintenance tasks or use simple hand tools. I know some people just aren’t mechanically inclined, but maybe they should just keep that to themselves.

I’ll actually be at Audi of Willoughby on Tuesday, should I check out the ISF for him? lol

I don’t think it’s a big deal to not know what a particular tool is. He’s an insurance agent, so I’m not sure he has had to deal with working on cars much in the past. As we know, he takes his car to the Audi dealer for all work, even his aftermarket clutch install…so he’s not likely to be wrenching on his own (if he’s paying the highest cost and potentially worst choice, for aftermarket parts)
