lulz on other forums (current, not classics)

Nice pic euroswagr.

We had a joke about air fresheners at the dealerships that I worked at. If they had more than four air fresheners in the car than they weren’t buying shit so don’t even bother recommending anything. Sure enough I never sold anything on every car with five or more air fresheners that came in - including stupid shit like light bulbs or visor clips.

This just in… You can’t tell the difference between a tuned B8 and a stock B8.5… lol…

http://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php/511301-Initial-impressions-of-my-2013-vs-my-now-forgotten-2010

That was true with MTM and early stasis 91…although now its a pretty big stretch to make that claim.

Oh snap that was Seinsmeld

Primetime…he isn’t lying. His old car was GIAC 91 tuned and I beat him when we raced. Key word is “91” tuned…running, 91 fuel. He ran a best of 12.89. My best was 12.75. The rest of us ran great times.

As I said on that thread i started here that made zcd really angry, the 91 tuned cars running 91 gas are a nominal bump over stock cars running better fuel.

I bet a coke that a stock b8 running 93-94 would be within a car length of a 91 Apr or GIAC car running 91 in a 50-110 pull. Stasis revo I am not sure…would still like to see it. That revo timing will get clawed back to fuck with 91 piss gas.

Did LOU (former B8 S4 owner) fall and hit his fucking head?

He has put a deposit down on a new S8. He then started a thread asking about backing out and what his options were. I think he was suppposed to get it in October, but now is being told March or something. Anyway, moving on…

I just noticed his signature…he has a 11.8 quarter mile time and a 479 WHP dyno result down there…so I thought, oh he got his car on time after all.

Nope.

He is advertising fucking magazine tests…in his signature??? lol

http://i49.tinypic.com/npnsow.jpg

thats a first, lol

Saki, Didn’t think he was “lying” just more naive to the whole new car feel… I assume he is running 91 in the new one as well since his job “pays” for the gas… As weak as the 91 tune cars are I still can’t see it being slower than a brand new tight motor, with taller gearing, and lower shift points… Especially, since with a tune he shouldn’t be dumping any boost… No biggie either way…

Oh and LOL at quoting time and dynos based on magazines… Worse part is he will never take the car to the strip anyway… Sad but true… Anyone heard of any new S6’s or S7’s hitting the strip yet? Curious to see if they match the mag times… Fonzie mentioned he was going to go but don’t think he has yet…

There was a video that fonzie made his old S4 vs new S6. There was pretty close with the S6 slightly pulling. Not sure what stage is old s4 was

that first gear race? lol

one of the atlanta rs4 boys strikes again

lol he’s a beauty

actually, in that thread, the OP says he bought an RS4, then posted this.

Looks to me likeNogaro more than Sprint/. Could just be the lighting/white balance.

I wish my seats gripped my ass…it would be an added benefit for my skreet racin’

It’s the lighting. That’s the sprint blue ti package from WV that was posted on QW. I gave some serious thought to buying that car. The guy was asking $43-44k with a nice set of winter wheels included. Great price!

hey BWT good to see you post up. Thanks for the clarification. I love Sprint Blue. There are a few photos of Dan@JHM’s car and I always think it would be great to own. Then I remember that I don’t need to give the police any more help spotting me coming when they’re wielding a radar gun!

Yeah, the curves might have been modified cause that’s way darker than sprint blue. That said, it’s a nice mix between nogaro and sprint blue (shinier and bluer than nogaro, darker than sprint blue). I actually wish that was the official Audi colour hehe. Sometimes I find sprint blue a little too light. Oh well, sprint blue is still a great colour nonetheless.

Confirmed that he ditched his RS4 for an ISF. Sounds like after destroying multiple clutches in a few months, he decided to tap out, and bought an IS-F with an automatic 8speed transmission.

Also confirmed? Despite all of his boasting, GibsonL is a ham fisted talentless fuck behind the wheel. I knew that when I watched him attempt to dragrace a 3 series and he bogged the launch then bounced off the rev limiter in every gear and slipped the clutch on engaging the next one each time lol.

Well i celebrated my 10th and 11th day on track this past weekend at VIR with great weather, great people and an overall great time. I always tend to post up some laps of me just driving, but because this can be boring ive decided to change it up… Oh and because this weekend was the first time I have had to take the RS into the grass…!!!

Big Ups to Jim Khoury, 1 for organizing the great event as usual, but also becasue he was my instructor and i with out a doubt got faster in Oak Tree and Hog Pen!!!

Lawerence… you got lucky you were in the ISF and you can blame me blowing by you on the inexperience you have in a rear wheel drive mobile!

I have to accept you basking in glory until spring… And for that I am sad.lol You really need
to give VIR a go in a RWD car. It’s a very unique experience. You don’t get the beiiinefficientficientficientit of just mashing the gas and counting on the quattro to bail you out! I had 2 pretty good tank slaps but when I watched it on the video it didn’t look nearly as exciting as it felt. My instructor kept trying to get me not to try to save everything and go through the grass but it’s just so hard when I’ve never seen a situation the RS couldn’t get me out off. But yes, messing up through the esses I’d shoot through the grass too. That’s the scariest part of the track.
I love how he is bashing the Rs4 because it makes the track ‘too easy’. Wasn’t he going on and on about how he’s such a track star at VIR? And how it’s his home track? Fucking classic.

another beauty from gibsonl. Despite everyone on earth talking about how rotors don’t warp but get pad deposits which cause the shaking feeling under braking, gibsonl thinks the JHM rotors magically warped after using them for a year. Anyone else amazed that he doesn’t realise it was the change in pad material/deposits that caused the problem?

As if on cue, BenSti, formerly of ebworks, chimes in to shit on JHM, with absolutely useless information. "some people have had problems and some people have not’. So his recommendation is to not use them. THANKS BEN!

Between him and the round-mound-of-rebounding-post-deletes I often wonder who is worse for the RS4. It’s hands down mick, but Ben puts up a good fight.

Nothing like when the vendor/distributor(AWE) asks the customer(1scamS4) if he wants to share any information on their pulley… Oh that’s right he isn’t a customer… or is he… lol

http://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php/473641-GIAC-AWE-pully-upgrade/page2

Lol asks the GIAC dealer/friend of the guy who runs the software company this hardware provider is partners with for his input?

Hold on to your seats…unbiased information coming!
GIAC software calibrations for the B8.5 S4 & S5 will be available at So Cal Euro for 2013 models!

Listed below are the ECU part numbers we have currently completed software for:

• 8K5907551C (USDM)
• 8K5907551E (USDM)

Dynamometer test results from an MD-500 Mustang dyno are included here. The graph plots power tests (wheel HP and TQ) for a 2013 S5. The red line denotes a completely stock S5 with OEM software, exhaust, intake and charge cooler, on 91 octane. The blue line denotes the same S5 with GIAC 91 octane Stage 1 software, OEM exhaust, intake and charge cooler, on 91 octane. All runs performed on the same day.
It says OEM GOLF R on your plot

ya it just changed
Again, the plot now says 2012 S5, not 2013 facelift version. Ummmm, they really have no idea what lie they want to use as to what car actually ran on the dyno, or if it’s all BS anyway. It’s just a stupid dyno plot that’s largely arbitrary anyway, let’s just sell some f’kn tunes! $$$
