lulz on other forums (current, not classics)

Don’t forget imolas4 who virtually matched prime time…and that other new Sherrif guy rynurz, although he went 12.x when he went to a certified track.

The problem with b8 people (generalising) is that when their heads are in the clouds in excitement about the car, and someone reminds them that they’re way off and getting ahead of themselves, one of two things will happen.

 1. If you own a 4.2 car and bring them down to earth, they will ignore the merits of any facts you present, and will call you a hater, will flame you, will say your car is slow etc. (even though it is faster lol)

 2. If you own a 3.0t car and bring them down to earth, they will ignore the merits of any facts you present.

P. S. This guy is funny…
Ya thats good and all but those are all V1 cars, and MT cars are tricky to launch perfectly like you can with a DSG.
So now he is making excuses about the manual transmission cars? Did he forget what he is arguing? The tts rs4 and S5 and Apr rs4 and S5 he said they were close to were manual cars lol.

He is comparing a race gas dsg b8 car with hundreds of passes under its belt (primetime) with the manual transmission 4.2 cars on pump gas… Both of which afe three passes total… And both of which were driven by a tuning company driving a customers car (gingerly).

I really can’t fucking wait for jhm to launch and power shift Dan’s sprint blue rs4 and the MI daytona rs4 with their charger on them. What will these kids say when rs4s are trapping close to 130 and running tens on pump gas, with $13,000 in mods? (sc, dps, cat back, clutch).

“doesn’t count… the moon phase was unfairly helpful”

Thank God (literally) for the awesome 1/4 mile database.

Yeah, I’d guess rynurz has an 11.9 in that car somewhere, without the tailwind…but doesn’t seem consistently fast, so you can hammer me (fairly) for backing out a little on my previous stance. Imola had to strip his car down, and I think the point there is the headers aren’t adding anything more than the HFC on bears/primes, or the test pipes on Fonzies (a car which, I’d say, never got a fair run down the track).

I consider silence on my posts great - they obviously read them, and I hope they consider my opinion useful.

These threads ALWAYS get good: http://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php/518486-My-fellow-B6-brethren-I-m-in-need-of-ex-girlfriend-advice

LOL maybe

This one summed it up for me:
Have you tried meaningless sex with other girls? Usually a good starting point.

I don’t think there are too many guys that think they had enough of that when they were younger. Holidays suck, but I’m sure if he gets his ass out of the house and to a pub with a wingman or two, he’d feel differently the next morning.

I thought about posting my story but use a Penthouse letter or something as my story

That thread is mental. I can’t think of a worse place to go for advice than a car forum.

These people don’t even know how to work their fucking cars… never mind other people’s relationships.

Fucking win. Joe it sucks that you sold your audi

Lets roll out the excuses. Guy claims to go on all day canyon runs like it’s nothing… But he Can t drive eighty minutes to the drag strip.

Then when he realises that there is an eighth mile reasonably close by…
Irwindale is 1/8th mile and it was closed almost the whole year because of $$$$$$$ issues. If they are open they must of just opened up, and its 1/8th mile. Screw that. I can do a 1/2 mile strip with 1 mile of braking afterwards, I just need a V-Box.
I tried to intervene. 1/8th mile data is useless per him though! That track is 32 miles from him. Lol - a million excuses for the “very very fast car”. Sad.

Side note- trying to get .DBN files for the first US beta Stage 3 VW Golf R that somehow did a 9.3!!! 60-130 yet runs an 11.8@118 quarter on 100 octane. Somehow the guy is unsure if the files were saved (it does it automatically) and has no access to an SD card reader even though every laptop and computer practically have one.

Does that time make any sense??, especially seeing that Prime’s car ran a verified 11.07 60-130 on his 11.8 quarter mile runs. How is that even possible to be that much faster? ::slight_smile:

With almost identical 3.8 0-60s and let’s take 11.8 quarters… both cars do 60-118 in 8 secs. how does the golf R do 118-130 in 1.3 secs and Prime’s car do same exact time in 3.07 secs? Am I missing something?

I want to see how legit that road/setup is. I doubt anyone there knows about decline % and I really want to see that road decline the run was done on.

Read thread and enjoy the exotic car killing machine references lol.

"Exotic Car Killing machine!
Hey, just like my silly marketing mumbo jumbo I wrote for the release.

Stage III places the Golf R’s and S3’s accelerative performance in the same league as that of large V8 supercharged muscle cars and sub $400,000 exotic sports cars. "

Dunno but Arin seems to not want to realise that the numbers on the screen on a pbox prove only that green and black contrast each other nicely.

Lots of these guys hate the idea of putting the file in someone’s hands.

As for those dorks in the stage three thread, I love watching it. Keep them going lol.

P. S. 1.55 x 1/8 et equals 1/4 mile et, within a tenth or so, in just about every audi in our list. That guy is clearly suffering from eurocodeitis… the main symptoms being bragging about all the cars you crush…bragging about dyno numbers…then coming up with a million excuses NOT to hit the strip.

Remember we caught them before lying about this. They ran thirteens on their car with headers and Apr etc… Then buried the result in shame.

They produced that bogus 120 mph time (despite trapping low teens on all their other passes) in that magazine bullshit test.

Here’s latest from paperthin excuse list

It seems Irwindale went bankrupt in Feb this year, just the oval racing school remains. I tried the hotline, no answer…

The golf R looks more like a high-10 60-130, but his shifts are slow. It does seem to have a shitload of grunt.

Look at what seems to be overboost programmed in, on the boost gauge at far left

I was roughly getting as an average (10.5-6) when I timed the run from the video of the speedometer.

Seems like that “9.3” run was done with some incredible decline  I would put money on it.

I am trying to get that damn SD card file to calculate %.

And now I see the files were magically not stored on the SD card lol.

Odd. Still running events

This don’t look like no oval!

Ya that flyer was reason I even posted that track.

hahahah saki, when my dream gig of an online porn startup comes to fruition, I will hire you as my search engine master. Get him a Irwindale date before Christmas, and don’t forget, his Christmas and mine isn’t until Jan 6th… Edit: tsivas too

Looks like Keith is having fun over the pond, too. DSG seems to be faster on the golf R…
