So stock s6 on pump gas? vs. Fully modified b8 s4 on race gas and with a 100 shot of nitrous

The s6 appears to be a mid twelve at 110-115 car. I would sure hope even a tune pulley b8 on race gas would win.

Interestingly in the first race the b8 didn’t catch up till around 14 seconds…in other words 120 mph. Either he went really late or the b8 would struggle to get out of the 12s. Who tuned it?

Also it’s a shame we had to hear the b8…it sounded horrible. I kept waiting for someone with a leaf blower to walk in front of the car at the beginning when you could hear it revving. I don’t get how he has launch control but he is lilting the throttle right before they go??? The s6 is practically silent. Needs moar exhaust.

And although I wouldn’t consider it a fair race, that s4 is pretty quick nonetheless with its nitrous and race gas.

Race1: Did he spray and at what point? Either way he should have done much better from a dig IMO… Looks like they launched about the same time with a small advantage to the S6…

The S4 should still win even when the S6 is tuned assuming he sprays…

No doubt the S6 is geared well and launches good but so does the S4… The gearing is very close…

Race 1 no spray and the S4 catches up to the S6 around 100 and then starts to pass

Race 3 spray, I don’t remember what RPM the nitrous is set to start spraying but I think it’s somewhere between 2300-2500 all the way to ~6500 I’ll find out.
The S4 had an extra 400lbs of ballast in it and this guy runs almost nothing but race gas like you. He just got the 2.2 flash on his car, I don’t know if that makes any difference at all on DSG cars, I wouldn’t think so. If you watch the video of go Zoe racing his stock S6 against is S4, his race was on a short strip but his S6 was ahead the whole time.

Ya the B8’s exhaust is loud as hell, I would never run that exhaust on my car. But the guy loves it. As soon as APR has a tune for this S6 were going to redo these races.

It was hard to tell I wasn’t driving it was approx 100 we actually did 3 races from a dig I don’t know which one this was.

how about the launch…why could we hear the S4 engine bouncing revs. If its a DSG and has launch control shouldnt it have been a steady hold at 3500 RPM then go

weird, I’ve driven a two stock dsg b8 cars and showed the owners how launch control works but I don’t remember the lilting. Probably because I didn’t have to wait for anything. And they had no intake or exhaust so you wouldn’t hear much.

"Okay so i did the manual tb adaptation by turning the ignition on while holding the gas pedal down. After that i started it up and it was just misfiring its ass off. I turned it off, unplugged the maf and the misfiring stopped and theres no epc light or anything. The CEL even went away.

So from here i’m just going to drive the car with it unplugged, i guess its just going off the ecu to know how much fuel to dump in. Im going to clean the maf and go from there. Im pretty sure i’ve knocked out the tb being the issue. "

I’m just not sure if my bags are leaking because the tank is leaking, or if its actually the bags. I sprayed them all with soapy water and only seen bubbles on the tank.”
