lulz on other forums (current, not classics)

Its fine to have guys want to do stuff like thst…in the end some of those guys just talk oit there ass to male themselves look smarter…telling us you tuned 30 other cars gives you no qualified ability to tune every car. If that was the case we would all be using SCT tunes in our audi or Diablo tunes…shit thats a great point I shold go add.

Eurocode just claimed they can R&R a B8 Trans in under 4 hours, and then charge 7 hours for it, lol.

Seems like giac is paranoid about their software getting cracked.

I would be to if I were a software company, but it does kinda stink like personal shit getting in the way. “Old man Andrew” insult was so bad. Sean needs to go to insult school.

That was Arin who said that

Giac looked paranoid and petty.

Apr looked embarrassed that their dealer may have hurt a customers car… And angrily took a few kicks at giac in the process.

In the end nobody wins.

Lol that was retarded

But but but… But the rs4 has side badges!!!

They’re so small you can’t even see them. I didn’t even notice them for a while.

The 4.2 on the back screams “yes I’m in a fag car (cab) but please accept me… It has a 4.2!!!”

One s4 badge on rear
V8 badges on side if you must (my b7 s4 had them oem)
End of it.

Why is he starting a thread asking for opinions… Was he just looking for an argument? When people gave him opinions he did his best to show them they were wrong.

That’s an inside mechanic thing. Dumb to post it.

The Eurocode guys are well and truly dumb and trashy.

  1. APR should have just bought a new ECU for the customer. Not worth the hassle of saving a few hundred bucks.
  2. When code is your entire business, GIAC has every right to tell APR to fuck off. Its just too bad the customer was in the middle of this.
  3. GIAC should do something to help with expenses. Its no longer about who is right, but appearing like you care.

Thomas@TAI-VW (whoever he is) says he charges $90 for a 2 minute CEL scan. Wow, all the power to him if he gets people paying that but damn, I would never go to a mechanic that charges me a full hour for a 2 minute job.

Maybe it’s just how I read it buy giac didn’t tell Apr to fuck off. They told the customer to fuck off.

They lied and said they’d blank his ecu if it was sent down… Which it was. Then they pulled out a massive list of caveats, and an unknown charge to do so.

They acted like petty, penny pinching paranoid pussies.

Alliteration

I think they did it once they found out who the SoCal dealer was (bad blood).

Albertan B8 S4 owner has his car picked up by Audi for a service, but leaves dash can running. Nothing too juicy, but interesting nonetheless.

Edit: he doesn’t post the vid, only pics

nothing too juicy? having them going 130 in an 80 and 120 in a 60 in your car is pretty fucking juicy. Not as part of a road test. This was the valet taking his car to the dealer in the morning.

here in Ontario that would result in

  1. impound of the vehicle for 7 days
  2. $2000 to $10,000 fine
  3. suspension of your license for 7 days
  4. $800 in impound fees
  5. a MASSIVE increase in your insurance rates (this is tantamount to drunk driving or reckless)

Not to mention they ran red lights multiple times, and took his fucking car to the drive thru for breakfast.

[QUOTE=TarlCabot;8972515]RS4 ?? the B6 and B7 S4 doesn’t have oil “pressure” sensor, just oil level… IIRC

lol, AZ

He is an ok guy, but isn’t usually right when trying to help people…lol

lol, AZ

Having seen my oil pressure go ape shit in my display cluster, I can confirm the S4 does track oil pressure. It might not be easily accessible via VAGCOM or whatever but the car does know when the oil pressure is too low. And it’s quite loud and visible when it does lol

yeah, had it happen 3 times with my a6.

some confusion may stem from its being a pressure switch vs a transducer (at least on my C5 it was); it doesnt actually measure the exact pressure, it just ensures its over a certain level.

Either way the kid that actually has the code (also one of the extremely intelligent AZ guys) probably just continues to drive around anyways. If it wasn’t just a sensor issue I’m sure he would have posted a catostrophic engine failure thread already.

http://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php/553773-EPY-Hard-Chrome-Upgraded-OEM-Follower-Test-Run

Lol they are going against HPFPUpgrade.com and trying to make their own cam follower by reusing used OE ones.

It all started in this thread (long argument between HPFP and a “nuclear engineer”:

http://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php/524980-New-Cam-Follower-Finally-Released!?p=8964713&viewfull=1#post8964713

Interested to see if this turns into a huge fail.

Can’t imagine why he would ever think posting that photo was a good idea.

That made my day Beem…lol
