This was to address the inevitable ‘my car ran mid 13s…there’s no way you ran 12.75’. Looks like he was smart to do that, based on your post. He filmed me without cutting, all the way to back in the staging area, showing the car. You can clearly see it’s full weight, full interior and you can see the stock rotors.

The car has fucking rotors, clutch and resonator delete (replaced with ECS H-pipe). He has stock downpipes (all 4 cats), stock catback (other than the resonator delete), stock tune lol. If it was a B5, it’d be stage 0!

I just think it’s funny more than anything. What I don’t like is them casting a doubt on the time because they suck. People need to know what the RS4 is capable of. So few take it to the strip (like all these cars) and when hacks run high 13s, that gives the car a bad name.
That gibsonl guy who also posted in there (mr. break-in-your-clutch-on-the-highway-then-complain-when-it’s-fucked-after-a-track-day) went to a dragstrip day in maryland 2 months ago and claimed he didn’t run…just watched. I get the impression he ran 13.5-14.0 and just buried the result. Wonder if anyone was there and saw him? He told me in a PM that he’s going to run 12.4 blah blah blah. OK bud. Milltek catback always = 12.4 lol. Still, if he did run 12.4 I’d cheer for him and put him on the list. Don’t think I’d question the result. 12.4 is certainly doable with a tune and good exhaust and decat.

Apparently when you race people on the street you don’t do any damage to the drive train, but hit the strip and your car will explode. Doing a track day will be more hurtful to your car than the strip especially with you can not heel and toe or rev match on a downshift
