Any golf fans on here? I always look forward to this tournament - perhaps the best week in pro golf, with the possible exception of the British Open.
I was at Augusta last year for a practice round day, and I can confirm that even in hi-def, TV cannot do the course any justice. It is simply breathtaking.
Anyway, I’m a huge Tiger fan and will be rooting for him all week. Though I suspect we’ll see a first-time major winner, such as Dustin Johnson or Jason Dufner.

I went in 2008 and barely watched any golf. The true tar is the facility. Incredible

Cool - I’d like to see them. Cell phones were prohibited last year, and I forgot my camera on the day we left - so unfortunately I couldn’t take any pics.
The food and drink prices were surprisingly cheap. Never been to another professional sporting event where beers cost $4. Crazy.
A couple Jupiter residents with DJ and Tiger! DJ happens to live about a mile away. Tiger a little bit further as he is on the island. It’s amazing how many golf pros/athletes live in this little town, Rory, Jack, Greg Norman and several others as well as the most recent notable being Michael Jordon. Quite common to see these guys out n’ about around here.
Dustin Johnson lives in Jupiter? thought he lived in South Carolina?
He’s a murderer anyway.
I visited the area a few years ago - very impressive. I thought Tiger left Jupiter, though. Where is that new $60 million mansion of his located?

Biggest tourney I’ve been to is the PGA champ (Medinah) and Western Open (Cog Hill) . Both in Chicagoland, go figure.
It is pretty sweet walking the course. Have done that and just camped out at the hospitality tents. Both are fun. Always lots of pretty women at golf tourneys and down south in Georgia, I can only imagine.
Love rooting against Tiger! Really could care less to see him be successful.
The Majors are a great way to waste a weekend though. Used to be way into golf but have since fallen out of interest in my game. Frustrating as all hell!

Are you from Chicago? I was at Medinah for the PGA Championship in 1999, and I’ve played Dubsdread (Cog Hill #4) numerous times. I even worked worked the Western Open (when that was still a tournament) back in high school. Tiger loves that course - think he won there 5 or 6 times.
I am originally. Folks and sister still live out in the burbs. Far northwest.

Yes, Jupiter Island which seems to be a hotbed for Pro Golfers which is very close to Medalist located in Hobe Sound. Tiger is living in his 60m dollar home currently and his Mom is also in Jupiter but not in the island. DJ might be selling but still has his place here. Elin is in Seminole (Palm Bch Gardens) and her new dude lives next door to the house she is having built. Her new dude Chris Cline or something keeps his 165ft yacht in the same marina as Tiger’s 155 footer (Privacy) pretty crazy to say the least.
