any idea of when the jhm exhaust will be available? i am going to potentially buy the downpipes to fit into the MTM.
If I were a betting man I would say end of October for exhaust production to get going full on. They already have a couple made and are refining.
That is great news if it includes the RS4 release tune. I was patiently waiting since around Feb hoping that I could get it on to enjoy in the summer. I have piggies in my garage but have also decided not to install those until I get the tune. Oh well, at this point I’ll continue waiting as my car isn’t driven in the winter. Now here is hoping that JHM will have released version by spring 2013.

i would like to mate the downpipes to the MTM exhaust i picked up this week.
i can wait…as you all know i dont rush to put exhaust on. the thing i like about the capristo it is easier for me to install on my own.
the MTM mid-section i picked up was made for the MTM downpipes therefore do not mate up to the OEM downpipes…which is not a big issue. I know I can get a shop to get it done.
my preference would be not to do this and wait for 2.75" downpipes…then customize those if necessary to mate up with the MTM catback.
Someone on Quattrofail has that setup…or had it. He is one of Mick’s pawns so he may have removed it for spite.

Mick likes to publicly blame anything and anyone but himself for the unfortunate series of mishaps and problems he has had with his car. Every problem is his or his shops fault. He should’ve held them accountable and gave them the chance to fix what they messed up instead of fabricating stories on the internet. Seriously, who doesn’t remember what shop installed the clutch in your car? Maybe an uber-rich person with 10 cars but not an enthusiast. Thats total BS.

The think I don’t get is this: if his car is really this fast…over 1 second faster from 3000-8000 RPM in 3rd gear than my car is) why is his car not running 11 seconds in the quarter mile? Because that gap is gigantic. Granted you don’t run from 3k-8k in 3rd at the sttrip, thanks I know that. I’m just saying that the difference between a car that logs 7.1 seconds and a car that runs 8.2 seconds is MONSTROUS.
I’m sure he sucks at driving but he has launch control now so he can cut 1.8 60 foot times. I’m sure he can’t shift great, but he can’t be that bad. So why, if he is 1 full second faster in 3k to 8k than a good running stock car, isn’t he destroying the quarter mile records? Maybe because he is holding the stopwatch on the logs? (i.e. able to tell us whatever he wants to tell us…I haven’t seen any pbox data from him, and that’s the closest I’d come to believing ANYTHING he posts that is not from a dragstrip.
I will be interested in his quarter mile times, but not that interested considering he ran with full JHM without launch control…and couldn’t launch without stalling (13.0 @ 110 or something with 2.1-2.3 second 60foot times). Then he ran with an updated tune with JHM launch assist and cut 1.8 60 foot times with ease (we all know how awesome JHM LA is) but with stock exhaust, and still set his best time ever (12.4). Shows how much his launch ‘skills’ were hurting him before.
Anyway, it will be funny to watch him compare his old JHM tune/exhaust quarter mile times vs. ebwerks even though the old JHM exhaust times are useless due to his driving)…
…and then it will be funny to watch him compare his most recent JHM tune/JHM exhaust dyno results (when he had a vacuum leak that was putting his car into limp) vs. ebwerks exhaust, and try to say how much better ebwerks is as a result.

mick claimed he did some logs of his ebworks exhaust and compared the times to his logs of his JHM exahust. He claimed that despite the heat, ebwerks was just as fast. He then went on about weight things… he had his “stock wheels and tires, +44lbs” on the car the other day for the test…but that ebwerks video revealed he had his TDR wheels (18") on very recently…and it would be odd if he changed wheels in the past 2 days.
Well, he didn’t.
He was lying again trying everything he can to make the ebwerks numbers look better than the JHM numbers. Will this fucking guy every stop lying?

yeah, it’s pretty damaging this campaign he has gone on being anti-jhm this whole time…when he then admits he did it because he was tired of getting screwed over on his mods. He then listed a bunch of his mods that went wrong and the only JHM part that wasn’t doing it’s job was his shifter which came out of perfect alignment. I hardly think that is worthy of singlehandedly trying to DESTROY their reputation. ALl of his concerns about their parts were unwarranted and exaggerated for effect because of his woe is me attitude and the fact that he wants to get back at me for crushing him on the forums. I guess he thinks hurting JHM changes my life in some way. Very strange. (if this sounds ridiculous, he actually told this to people…that he would go after JHM to get back at me lol…I couldn’t make this up if I tried).
duud I think you are missing a key point here…there is a multi million dollar business (JHM) that has been very damaged by mick’s actions. It’s hard enough to find any company to support our platform(s) and when a company actually does, and you have this nitwit running around like an idiot trying to wreck it, people will react. He has done this to other companies too. When he doesn’t get his way, he throws a MASSIVE shitfit like a toddler.
