mickf29 hits a new low...even for him

and ebwerks wishes them both well in their future endeavours lol

I’ve NEVER heard of ANY officer asking the speeder/driver to “pop their hood”, in fact it violates one’s fourth amendment rights.

Unless the officer is an enthusiast and wants to admire the car/engine; this I see happening as chit-chat.

Back to the topic:

I wonder why JHM hasn’t taken this person to civil court for defamation and slander; court costs might not be worth it but it’d definitely slow his roll.

I wasn’t incredibly serious about the “popping of the hood statement” (hence the smiley faces) but since it got a response, I’m just going off what I heard here. I live at the opposite end of the U.S., but I’ve heard several stories of California cops asking people with modified cars to pop their hoods.

Not everyone is familiar with the law and their rights all the time. It’s sad but true. Cops take advantage of people on a daily basis.

Anyways back on topic…

Haha! Don’t be… I’m also the guy that had my Alcons powder-coated yellow!

lol nice!

Mick is a laugh fest of stupiddity… to sum it up… he is an overweight looser with no friends that ended up with a rs4 and started posting like crazy on qfail… after not too long he started stripping parts off his car and using a vag com…in qfail land thats god statous because 90% of qfail is rims and suspension posts. … anyway he became popular on qfail because he just threw money at his car and took out all kinds of parts…since there are only 3 members on qfail that actually are knowlagable he had quite a empty party following. … until he tried to venture out to audizine. … audizine had all kinds of people mick didnt like because they asked questions and proved most of his guess work wrong…he got into a btetter spot ofter he got great results with jhm mods but mick expexted to be more popular then jhm and when he wasn’t and people didn’t care what mick had to say he latched out at people like us.then went 9 a huge anti jhm campaign… the people that know and ask the real questions. … mick went on a anti jhm campaign to try and build back up his e statous… mick then went as fsr as investing in a company that was trying to make a direct knock off of the jhm exhaust. … that blew up in micks face when the owner of thr company told mick to f off and shut up because mick is an idiot. … it gets even worse…in short…paper ur smart and bave been around cars worked on them and know your stuff…its safe to say mick hates you too

Thats why I thought of BenSTI when I saw this Mick Guy I must have heard or seen something about them in the past. Is he on this site?

^^ both have accounts here

In that case I hate him too, I’ll start fucking with him on Audizine as well.

Ive never had a cop ask me to pop my hood but They did call an inspector to inspect my friends MK4 GTI because the exhaust smelled and impounded the car for not having cats and gave him a $10,000 ticket. Also I see smog check stations set up on the side of the road all the time, they have never asked me to pull over because I have a new car im sure. But they bust older cars all the time.

Paper when you see his posts you being a savy as you are you will see right threw it…

“Car sounds modified son. Mind popping the hood so we can take a look?”

It’s a question, asking for permission, to search.

Kinda like

“Mind if we take a look in the bag?”

People don’t realise that they have the right to say 'yes, I do mind. I have my gun and weed in there. ’

I see it…

This is the point I made when he brought up the core support modification…

…and in Mick’s defense he judges performance of a kit on

#1 what CAD rpgram the designer used, preferably solidworks for him
#2 bling factor

He also says the JHM kit is just a bunch of “off the shelf parts”…lol so I guess we can all just go piece on together for less than $1k

Consent searches, gotta love them.

I won’t go into a whole legal jumbo but even if you deny a consent search of your vehicle, if the officer has probable cause that a crime has been committed due to his observation, in regards to the totality of the situation, he can still search the immediate areas of your car not including the trunk, glove box or hood hence violating ones fourth amendment rights.

[quote=“slow4,post:95,topic:3755”]

or he can just impound your car in which case they can search every nook and cranny and even take shit apart.

To inventory, yes.
To use as evidence for a crime, if probable cause has been determined and a crime has been established, otherwise, refer to my inventory answer.

Mick was an associate in ebwerks ?

Not officially. He used the words “we” and “us” a lot. Guerrilla marketing of sorts. Then he started puking all over himself in the forums and Enrique (the E in EB) made a public statement declaring he had no part in their business. Shit was hilarious.

Its was painful to watch.
