I wish. I haven’t driven the car all weekend due to a family event. I thought I would be able to get out there tonight, but I had kid duty and I just woke up after falling asleep with the TV watching me. Off to bed for the night, but I will try tomorrow.
Just bought myself a socket off Amazon. Mine are old so I’m sure they need replacing soon anyways. This is the same thing trexturk used to remove my front sensors when he did my downpipes.
x3! I feel like I’ve swapped O2 sensors more than anyone should have with my trial and error attempts. Even with a lift, it almost takes longer to get the car in the air than changing one of the sensors.
Also, just for other people’s reference. Bank 1 is passenger side, Bank 2 is driver’s side. Good info to keep in mind when people or codes refer to a specific bank.
yeah, to be honest the baby steps tune is a bitch tune to not kill your car while the blower exposes your faults.
There’s still a bunch more to come before you’re at full power, which is in the ‘safe zone’ that JHM will keep you in…and beyond that there’s a crazy amount more. Ideal for creating pools of oil on the roadway.
I must have missed it and I’m probably just restating the obvious, but for the s/c tune JHM sends you different stages of the tune ranging from very mild to the full tune to make sure the rest of your car can handle it?
I can’t speak for the others but for me, they sent a conservative tune to make sure there were no issues. Otherwise, if there are issues and the tune is full blown power, it could potentially cause irreparable damage. They’re sending me a revised tune and I’m hoping this one will be the last conservative one (crossing fingers). Assuming all is good, they’ll then send me a more aggressive tune.
@Meistah, per Axel and saki’s comments I received an initial tune with the kit just to make sure there were no issues before unlocking the power. I am currently waiting on the next version of the tune.
